Thank You. 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, Ex Detective's Vehicle with 103K original miles and only 359 idle hours. Like new conditions, everything works in the car, from the City of Orange CA, no rust. The car is original metallic silver - a very rare and unique color - NOT a repaint, paint code is (JP). The paint is super sharp and shiny and I give it a 10 out of 10 - and hardly no scratches . The car still looks and drives very nice, (1) hole on the roof of the car where the antenna is, carpet floors, Cold A/C, heather works, defroster works fine, AM/FM stereo, all seat belts and buckles in place, car came with medium shade window tint all around, all (4) windows and doors fully operational, tires are in great conditions all around (235/55/17 by Goodyear RSA), CLEAN TITLE - NO ACCIDENTS, car came with no spare tire kit and sold separately if needed. Everything works in the car. Pink slip and documents on hand, Smogged, Sold as is. Very fast car that needs nothing and is ready to go! READY FOR WORK AND ROAD READY!! Next-gen Ford Cobra Jet development underway, but will it be a Mustang?
Wed, 09 Oct 2013Ford might be stepping away from the NHRA, but it isn't abandoning drag racing altogether. Hot Rod says that Ford confirmed a next-gen Cobra Jet factory drag racer is in the works, but the report also speculates that a new Cobra Jet could switch away from the Mustang nameplate.
Even though talk of a new Cobra Jet coincides with the all-new 2015 Mustang, the lack of confirmation for the dragster's platform leaves Hot Rod to guess that the car might switch to another platform - specifically a front-drive-based, unibody car like the Fusion or Taurus. We'd hate to think of a world with a NASCAR-ized dragster from Ford Racing, but it's also highly unlikely that the Mustang Cobra Jet would step away from its quarter-mile rivals like the Chevy COPO Camaro and Dodge Challenger Drag Pak.
Ford sued over alleged 3.5-liter EcoBoost defects
Thu, 16 May 2013Three Ford owners from Ohio have filed a lawsuit against the automaker over defects that they allege exist within the company's twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine. Automotive News reports that the lawsuit claims the engine "contained serious latent design, manufacturing, or assembly defects." Those defects, the suit claims, cause the vehicle to shake, misfire and lose power quickly.
Two of the plaintiffs, a married couple, own a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO, and allege they experienced a loss of power and stalling, while the third, an F-150 owner, claims he lost power while accelerating. In addition to the Taurus SHO and F-150, the 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine is also available in the Ford Flex, Explorer Sport and Lincoln MKT and MKS. Other three- and four-cylinder EcoBoost engines are not included in the suit. There have been no recalls associated with 3.5-liter V6 engine, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently not investigating the matter.
The plaintiffs, however, claim Ford has known about the problem, citing several technical service bulletins issued to dealers of the F-150 that suggest possible fixes. Ford had no comment for Automotive News, saying that it's yet to review the lawsuit, which was filed last Friday in Columbus, OH.
