Sacramento, California, United States

This particular F430 comes with a very interesting pedigree, it was sold new to the American actor Nicolas Cage and comes with its original books that were signed by Mr. Cage when he took delivery. This car also comes with a Ferrari VIP book, only a handful of cars that roll off of the assembly line comes with these books which provides a photo journal of the car being assembled in Italy. Each of the 2 previous owners kept the car in exceptional condition, the car is 100% accident free and all original factory paint. It comes with a very thorough service history and is currently up to date on all maintenance. Features such as Blue-tooth wireless connectivity, siriusXM and a premium sound all come with its upgraded stereo system. The vehicle also comes with a very impressive list of upgrades including: Carbon front splitter, Fabspeed challenge headers, MA carbon fiber air boxes, carbon fiber shift knob, Custom stereo with JL W7 Anniversary Edition 8'' subwoofer, JL Audio 1000w amp inside a custom enclosure, ''5'S'' front door separates with mirror mounted tweeters, Kenwood deck with Pandora, Bluetooth, USB, CD and navigation. It has also been lowered 1'' on H&R springs to give it an extra aggressive stance. This F430 comes offered in Rosso Scuderia and is the epitome of what a super car should be; exotic mystique, race-car heritage and a masterful mixture of automotive art and pure adrenaline rush power. Components throughout the F430 come from Ferrari's F1 race cars, including its distinctive air intakes up front and its electronic differential called the E Diff, which helps to provide maximum grip as the car comes out of turns to reduce or eliminate wheel spin. In addition, just as in a Ferrari F1 race car, the driver can adjust the electronics governing the F430's suspension, stability, and traction-control settings, as well as the E Diff, using a rotary dial called a Manettino. The F430's 4.3-liter V8 engine produces 483 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, which drives the vehicle from 0 to 60 in just 3.9 seconds and to a maximum speed of 195 mph. Typical of many Ferrari's, the F430's powerful new engine resides behind the driver and passenger, which on occasion can make the occupants feel as if they're strapped into a rocket. Ferrari's have always been known for their relatively spartan interiors, when compared to other exotic sports cars but the Italian automaker has worked hard to make the F430's interior more comfortable and luxurious.

Ferrari to debut new twin-turbo California in the spring

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

Ferrari hadn't made a turbocharged engine since the F40 ended its production cycle in 1992. But that all changed when it helped Maserati develop its new 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8. That turbo engine has so far been shoehorned into the Quattroporte, along with its 3.0-liter V6 cousin that also powers the smaller Ghibli. But soon it'll wear the Prancing Horse badge as further details emerge on the next-generation California.
Set to arrive in time for the spring (likely to be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March), the new California will reportedly ditch its naturally-aspirated V8 in favor of a reworked version of the Quattroporte's twin-turbo unit, which at 523 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque is already considerably more muscular than the current California's 483 hp and 372 lb-ft.
The new California will likely be closely based on the outgoing model, but benefit from revised aluminum sheetmetal and an updated cabin with a new infotainment system - two areas in which the current model has scored low marks.

Watch how fans honored Michael Schumacher on his 45th birthday outside his hospital

Sat, 04 Jan 2014

Michael Schumacher remains in a medically induced coma six days after a skiing accident in the French Alps. While the racing legend spent his 45th birthday in the hospital, listed in stable but critical condition, racing fans from all over Europe descended upon the clinic in which he lies in Grenoble, France, to pay their respects.
The event was arranged by Ferrari, the manufacturer with which Schumacher is most often associated after winning 72 individual races for the Italian marque between 1996 and 2006. In total, Schumacher won 91 races, stood on the podium 155 times and won seven F1 Driver's Championships over the course of his illustrious 19-year career.
Schumacher's family was deeply touched by the outpouring of support and has issued a short statement thanking Ferrari fans for their "incredible sympathies." We've gathered a few videos together showing scenes of support from outside the hospital, and you can see them, along with the family's official statement, below.

Nissan GT-R and Ferrari 458 Speciale in track battle by Evo

Thu, 14 Aug 2014

Supercar slayer. That's what they call the Nissan GT-R. And in many ways it is, even though its price and performance over the years have risen to put it squarely in supercar territory of its own right.
In fact, as Evo magazine has been compiling a list of its fastest cars - using the Anglesey Circuit in Wales as its common ground - the GT-R has came out on top... that is, until Evo tested the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The two are about as different as you can get within the supercar segment: one has a turbo six up front driving all four wheels in a 2+2 configuration, the other a mid-engined, rear-drive V8 two-seater. In fact the only common ground you're likely to find between them comes down to their two doors and dual-clutch transmissions. Though they serve it up in different ways, both are class-leading performers.
We're looking forward to watching Evo populate its leaderboard with more entries like the McLaren 650S and more potent Nismo GT-R, but in the meantime the British enthusiast magazine, by popular demand, has released side-by-side in-car footage of both supercars putting their best lap forward around the seaside circuit.
