2003 SRT-4
Yellow with black interior Manual Trans. ADR wheels 89,9xx miles Kenwood CD player Southern Car (from Georgia) All Stock Adult driven All Maintenance performed Clean Carfax Vin: 1B3ES66S63D181454 I am selling my 2003 SRT4. Only 89k miles with a clean carfax report she has been adult driven and never modified. This southern beauty comes to Michigan from northern Georgia. This SRT comes with ADR wheels which really enhance her beautiful yellow body. The rear windows have been tinted and there are no signs of fading. A new clutch has been installed approx. 5k miles ago and she just received a recent oil change. A Kenwood CD player has been installed as well as new plugs and wires. The exterior is in very nice shape and I would rate her a solid 8/10. The paint is glossy with no signs of fading. There are a few teeny dings and light scratches as you'd typically find on an 11 year old car. As you will notice from the pictures she has a lower neon spoiler installed and a new front bumper (original bumper will be included in sale. Bottom lip was cracked and repair was attempted). The previous owner wanted a more muted look. I really like the sleeper style of this SRT. The ADR wheels are in really good shape with very minimal imperfection. The tires are in average shape and I would recommend replacing them next season. The interior is in very nice shape as well. I would rate a 9/10. Very well cared for and detailed regularly. Mechanically she is in great shape. Her engine runs strong and pulls very well. The turbo boosts as it should without any hesitation. I have not experienced any oil or coolant leaks and there is no smoke on start up. The transmission is in fantastic shape. I have not experienced any grinds or similar issues. Brakes work as they should as well as all lights and turn signals. This SRT has been well cared for and will make a fantastic daily driver or weekend warrior. Clean and clear Michigan Title. Please do not waste my time and I promise not to waste yours. If you have any questions please contact me on my cell phone. Please feel free to call anytime. Thanks for your interest. Nick 248-895-2625 Please note: Some items I have noticed that I would change if I was able to keep the car. - Passenger side view mirror has a small hairline crack. (this is just the mirror and not the assembly. Part is $23.10 on Partsgeek.com) - Driver front inner wheel liner can be replaced ($40.38 on Partsgeek.com) - I would recommend replacing the tires within the next year. (I priced them at Discount tire and prices for a set start at $250) - She is missing the rear passenger ADR wheel cap (I believe they are about $20 to replace) |

2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8
Wed, 23 Oct 2013One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.
eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.
