1968 Dodge Charger project car for sale. Originally came with 318 v-8, auto on the floor, factory A/C car with tinted glass, power brakes and power steering. The fender tag is intact and I can see it was gold with white Interior and black vinyl top. The car needs a complete restoration and is a good canidate. I do not have the motor but I do have the transmission. I have a grille but it needs repair. the rear in the car now is just in it to roll it around, I have the 8 3/4 housing that goes with it. I do not have the a/c box but the firewall is in great shape as is the entire front end. The rockers are also solid. The doors are in very good condition and are the original doors. The passenger fender is off of a 69 charger, the hood and trunk lid are rusted bad. The rad support, inner fenders, and front frame are in great shape. The car needs front floors, trunk pan, trunk extensions, outer wheelhouses, lower rear valance, quarter panels, and some work around the top rear window. I got the car as it is, the floors were cut out by previous owner as were the quarter panels, the panels on the car are not full and are just sitting on the car. The rear frame needs attention but its not totally gone. I have restored Chargers in worse shape than this one, I would keep it but I have way too many projects going on. I do have other parts to go with the car center console, seats, bumpers, lower front valance and trim. The car is rolling so it can be towed. I will answer any other questions the best I can. I also do restorations and if you would like to talk about buying the car and having me do the resto we can sure work out a deal, thanks and good luck.

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T hits the Redline
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Dodge has added a bit of spice to its Hemi-powered Challenger for 2013, offering up this new Redline package that makes its official debut at the Chicago Auto Show. The R/T Redline builds on the Rallye Redline kit that was created for the V6 Challenger, and we like how these subtle changes add to the muscle coupe's already classic styling.
In addition to the black chrome 20-inch wheels with red accents, the R/T Redline adds subtle graphics along the beltline. Inside, cars equipped with the six-speed manual transmission get a performance tuned exhaust that allows the engine to send a full 375 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels. (Redline Challengers with the five-speed automatic produce 372 hp and 400 lb-ft.)
The Redline package retails for $1,995 and can be had on both Challenger R/T and R/T Plus models. Scroll down for the full press blast.
1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express in Generation Gap showdown with 1933 Ford Pickup
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Auto enthusiasts love a good debate, whether it's Mustang versus Camaro or Ferrari against Lamborghini. But how about a battle between two very different vintages of classic pickup trucks? In this case, the fight is between a 1979 Dodge Li'l Red Express and a 1933 Ford Model 46 truck with a flathead V8.
The shootout comes courtesy of the internet series Generation Gap, and its concept is super-simple. One guy prefers classics, and the other likes newer rides. They choose a category, pick two vehicles and put them head to head. In this case, neither is exactly modern, though. The Ford is more than old enough to receive Social Security checks, and the Dodge is hardly a young whippersnapper.
Other than both being pickups, these two models were made to serve very different functions. The Li'l Red Express was basically the progenitor of today's muscle trucks, with a big V8 that made it one of the quickest new models in its day (admittedly, 1979 was a rough time for automotive performance). On the other hand, the '33 Ford was just meant to work, with little pretense for anything else. One of the hosts describes it as "the simplest, most difficult" vehicle he's driven because of the tricky double clutchwork necessary to shift gears. Scroll down to watch the video and try to decide which of these two American classics you would rather have in your garage.
Redonkulous Dodge Charger is ridin' high
Wed, 18 Sep 2013We're a bit hazy on the styling of this particular donk, which was recently spotted hashing about by HotCarsTV at the Southern Heritage Classic Car show in Memphis. Sporting a dope paint job and some wheels that make a blunt statement about what the driver enjoys, it's a unique take on the popular customizing trend.
The owner may be kiefing it real with the theme on this Dodge Charger, but when your car looks like this, it's easy to weed out from the crowd. Chronic police stops must also make it a pain to drive on a regular basis, though. Even with the big wheels, we bet the driver still finds time to light 'em up. Take a look down below for a brief video of this outrageous mean green machine on the road.
