I have an orange pearl coat 2009 SRT-8 Challenger and am the second owner of the vehicle. Pretty well loaded and has the customer preferred package 21X, which includes the premium sound package. It is the 475hp SRT-8 model with 16,000 easy miles. It is a 6-speed model and is absolutely "Like New" in every way. The original owner added lots of extras to the vehicle, which include, Mopar stainless steel cat back exhaust, Mopar splash guards, BMC performance braided line kit, with stainless steel caps and covers in the engine compartment, along with a oil catch can kit and shock tower brace. Mopar cold air intake, Mopar door sill plates, Hurst Billet Comp/plus pistol grip short throw shifter and a Diablo programmer. Also have a Mopar Challenger car cover that is on the car when it's not being driven. So pretty much everything you would want to do to the car, it has already been done, but I do have all the stock parts also. The car has been "ADULT" owned and taken care of extremely well and runs, drives, and looks like the day it came off the showroom floor. Only Mobil 1 synthetic oil has been used in the car! I have all the receipts for everything in a binder, along with the original window sticker, brochures, accessory catalog, and everything that came with the car. I did just replace 2 of the tires that had some wear on the outsides of them, as I'm picky with my vehicles. The original MSRP on this vehicle was $44,310. If you are looking for a nice one that has been well maintained with all documentation, you won't find a nicer one out there, guaranteed! The "only" reason I'm selling this is due to a business investment. I'm not interested in trades and buyers must contact me by phone due to scams. Serious parties can reach me at 641-757-2989.
Thanks!!
Roger

2014 Dodge Durango
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Say what you want about the Dodge Durango, but ever since it came on the scene in 1998, it has occupied its own niche in the SUV market - not too small, not too big, tough, able, not always the best on the road and not always the best off-road. If it were a football player, it would be a tight-end that can block and catch. If it were a hamburger - a double burger with cheese and bacon, but not the Whopper.
As part of a mid-cycle upgrade for what was already a very capable SUV that Chrysler introduced in 2011, and built on the same platform as the Mercedes GL-Class and Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2014 Durango has gotten some refinements worth noting that have cleaned up its tailoring and toned up its body and powerplant. The result is an SUV that shows itself to be a very good value in a category full of sticker prices that can run away faster than a kid who's been told he has to take ballroom dancing lessons.
Chrysler executives showing us the new Durango made a special point to reiterate that the Dodge brand is not going away, as has been rumored after the company took the Ram and Viper - the cream of the brand - out from under the Dodge umbrella. Turns out Dodge has been the brand attracting the most young people (who knew?) and has a younger average age buyer than Honda. The Dodge brand historically has also attracted buyers who aren't exactly Phi-Beta Cappa, which some companies worry about. Chrysler not so much. Dodge buyers tend to be more the working, high-school-educated, community-college-educated backbone of the work force in America. If they keep coming to Dodge, the Durango is a pretty good piece of hardware to save up for.
Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets 22 mpg
Thu, 18 Sep 2014With its crazy 707 horsepower on tap and roughly $60,000 starting price, the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat has been one of the most talked about cars of the summer, maybe even the year. However, there's always been one lingering question about the behemoth that Dodge has waited to answer until now - its fuel economy. The EPA ratings for the muscle car are finally out, and the numbers are actually pretty impressive for a vehicle with this much power.
A 2015 Challenger Hellcat with the eight-speed automatic is rated at 22 miles per gallon highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined. Opting for the six-speed manual drops those figures to 21 mpg highway, 13 mpg city and 16 mpg combined.
"As the fastest muscle car ever, the Challenger Hellcat can run 10-second ETs [elapsed times] at the track, and then get 22 miles per gallon on the drive home. With a starting price of $59,995, there's nothing else that even comes close," said Dodge and SRT President Tim Kuniskis in the company's release.
2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.
