Work Done To the Vehicle and the History:

I am the owner of my family business we own a body shop and have a dealer license. I purchased the Datsun to be my personal project in April 2013, The car had minor damage in the rear end of the car. I saw the engine and thought this car had, had a lot work and money put in already. I verified the receipts of the work done in the engine it total the sum of $17K. As you can see in the photos every detail was address. I have done the body work and some cosmetic details. I do not have the time to finish the last 10% and leave it perfect.  Its time to pass it to someone that will put the time and will enjoy the car more than me. My wife is expecting our first born and it due this month. The car is thrill to drive it drives fast and Loud, Engine works Perfect Transmission shifts awesome racing clutch gauges and all. Our shop did the body work restoration we painted and molded the front bumper lip and rear end to flow seamless with the body. The car has no rust at all solid, we painted the whole car; 350z Solar Yellow, Engine bay was already painted jet black looks great. We had the rear carpet reupholster and the headliner; I had the center consul replaced and new headlights. I spoke to previous owner the engine was built to handle a bigger turbo; but to me this turbo is plenty. I HAVE AN ORIGINAL SPOILER TO GO WITH THE SALE AND FRONT EMBLEM IF YOU DO NOT LIKE THE BLACK ONE.

  • No Fuel gauge
  • The car has after-market suspension the springs are high quality ( tokico) but I believe the shocks are original and need replacing to match the lower springs; LOOKS aggressive but when shifting at high RPMS  it makes a noise in the rear right side( I had mechanic Look at the Half Shaft thinking it was that but they say the noise is coming from the spring that are loose between the oem shocks; Shocks need replacing.
  • The Headlights are new I bought the Adapter but one headlight is brighter than the other (could be an easy fix don’t know)
  • New tint in the rear hatch door is needed
  • If you are picky the weather strips are worn so good idea to replace them

Datsun Redi-Go is reborn brand's first concept car [w/video]

Wed, 05 Feb 2014

Nissan's plan for its reborn Datsun sub-brand just got a shot in the arm, as the emerging-market manufacturer has unveiled its first concept car since its resurrection back in 2012. Called the Redi-Go Concept, it looks like a high-riding version of Datsun's recently launched Go hatchback that's been fitted with a few concept car cues (not a bad thing).
The Redi-Go packs LED taillights, Datsun's "D-cut grille" and LED running lights into its Go-inspired body. Funky two-tone 15-inch wheels add a bit of cheek to the overall design, and in our minds look quite good, despite being so small. The ruggedized front and rear bumpers, as well as the sill and wheel arch surrounds add to the Redi-Go's rough-and-tumble aesthetic. We like that Datsun has kept the overall package short, giving the Redi-Go a 92.5-inch wheelbase, rather than creating a lifted version of the upcoming Go+. There are no specific mentions of the Redi-Go's mechanicals, although we'd wager that a production model might share the 1.2-liter engine and five-speed manual found in the standard Go.
While it might be easy to dismiss a concept like the Redi-Go in America, there's no denying its importance to the Indian market, which is decidedly more limited when it comes to available bodystyles. "If we were to make a car like Datsun Redi-Go Concept it would be a segment creator in India, an aspirational car that at the same time is attainable, a car that would be within reach of the first time buyer. This concept shows how serious we are about reinvigorating the market by catering for the needs of a growing class of Indians who have the chance to own a family car that will enable them to enjoy a new sense of independence," said Vincent Cobee, the global head of Datsun.

Renault planning a Tata Nano rival. Again.

Wed, 28 Nov 2012

Four years ago, Renault confirmed that it would partner with India's Bajaj Auto to develop a rival to the Tata Nano. At the time, as everyone waited for the Tata Nano to arrive, you could have used a Richter scale to measure the tremors the executive suites of any automaker with an interest in the low end of emerging markets. Then the Nano, still the cheapest car in the world, didn't sell so well - at the end of last year its sales were just six percent of its most conservative projections - and everyone seemed content to let Tata spend the money to figure out if there really was a market for the cheapest car in the world.
Renault believes there is, kind of. Automotive News Europe reports that it will partner with Nissan to build two low-priced cars for emerging markets, one for €3,000 ($3,888 U.S.) and another for €5,000 ($6,400 U.S.). The price of the least expensive offering is nearly $1,400 more than a Nano, which costs $2,500, and that can't be considered a small sum in comparison. But one of the hindsight knocks on the Nano has been that even in emerging markets buyers don't want a car whose biggest lure is that it is cheap; they'd rather give their aspirations a bit more of a workout.
Renault's offerings are scheduled to hit the non-Western market in late 2014, which is coincidentally the same year that will see the return of the budget-minded and emerging-market-specific Datsun nameplate. They'll be built in Renault facilities in Chennai, India, with no mention made of Bajaj this time around.

Nissan IDx 'in the plan' for production, needs support from fans [w/poll]

Wed, 15 Jan 2014

If there's a trend in the auto industry we can firmly get behind, it's the small, light and affordable rear-drive coupe. The positive critical reception to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ twins has encouraged other manufacturers to look at building their own rear drivers, and even a few to show actual concept cars based on the idea. The Chevrolet Code 130R from 2012 and more recently, the Nissan IDx twins that were first shown at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show both come to mind, as does the brand-new Kia GT4 Stinger Concept.
Nissan trotted out the IDx Nismo and the IDx Freeflow for another showing in Detroit and we'll admit to being totally smitten with both cars. Again. The duo draw inspiration from the iconic Datsun 510, a lightweight, affordable rear-driver that remains a cult favorite decades after production ended.
Now, a report from our friends at AutoWeek reveals that we may, possibly, hopefully see a production IDx, provided fans make a strong enough case for it. "It's in the plan," Nissan product boss Andy Palmer told AW. According to the report, Palmer said the IDx is "into the first sage of the development process. The next stage is project validation and then looking at the business case. It's no one's intent to waste millions of the company's money, so obviously we have a good feeling about this one."
