UP FOR THIS NO RESERVE AUCTION is a 1956 in running condition Custom Cab 3100 short bed pickup, With a early 60s MTD mower that works (it was the kids grand fathers he fixed it up).The combo takes me back to a earlier time when things were more simple and innocent .these trucks were built work . It you dont wont the mower i will get it off the bed . but the price stays at the bid price .My Wifes Great Uncle bought the truck new . I was Driven until about three years ago and was really put out to pasture .I got it to the point so that it can be driven . The gas tank had been replaced at some point and I took it out and cleaned it . I then replaced all rubber hoses from the fill hose to the carb , replaced both rad hoses , put in new points and condenser , and coil. The last I did was put new tires on it . I then cleaned out the carb and put a new doughnut gasket in the exhaust . The bed is awesome , the hood , grill , bumpers , tailgate , backglass , and drivers front fender is very good . The bottom of the doors are in need of patching . The passengers front fender needs the bottom patched or replaced . The Cab floors are awesome but needs corners supports and running boards . The running boards are 69.00 and the corners are 29.00 and the supports are around 39.00 each all sold right here on e-bay . If your looking then you know about this truck . The 235 runs very well . After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.

Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize.
