1941 Pre War 1/2 Ton Chevrolet Truck on 2040-cars

This is a completely off frame restored Pre War 1/2 ton Chevy. The paint is a perfect 10. The Black has a nice blue metal flake. Restored to original, everything works, running lights, parking lights, horn, and all gauges. The instrument panel is restored and works like new. All steel truck with the exception of the rear fenders. Some of the pictures are during the restoration, it does have front and rear bumpers. It has both windshield wipers. The window crank outs work freely with little effort. Vent works as intended. The wood in the bed is perfect and looks great. I replace the rear end gears for high way driving, 60 mph is no problem. A real looker, always wins at the car shows. The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold.
