here is youre chance to build that hotrod sleeper the way you wanted to. ls6 lt1 454 with two fours and a blower of course. this is a sw rust free car originally six auto so it wasnt beat. the guy I got it from spent 1500 on the originall six so I told him to keep it. the good points to the car is it is a sw car SOLID FLOORS TRUNK DOORS the intior is all new. there is a small dent on the rear quarter. it really is nothing maybe three inches by three inches the rest is really straight. all the glass is good and the wiring is good. there is a new radiator in the trunk and the drive line is included.so if you have that motor in the garadge that you didnt know what to do with gues what MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS. just rember sometimes you need to buy youre own christmas gift. a 500 dollar deposit is due at end of auction car will be stored for thirty days after. GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin.
