FOR SALE 1962 CHEVY IMPALA WAGON

I'm selling my 1962 Chevy Impala wagon. I bought it from a guy in Virginia and had it shipped to me a little over a year ago.
It's been a fun cruiser, and definitely a head turner, but i need to get rid of it to fund another project.

I recently did headers and different exhaust. It's basically side exit.
It has a new Edelbrock  electric carburetor. It run and drives well. Never had any issues with it since i've had it.
It has a basic air ride set up. Has an air gauge and two switches for front and rear. Goes pretty high, and almost lays frame.
Has 18x8 and 20x8 boss wheels black with polished lips, wrapped in Nitto tires with almost new tread.
Whole car was sprayed Matte black, and the roof has a silver sparkle paint, but is chipping off in some spots. ( I WILL RESPRAY THE ROOF IF I GET MY ASKING PRICE)
Also has pin stripping on the front and back.
Basically the whole interior is refinished other than the rear bench seat, it has a Mexican blanket covering it.
It has a 327 in it, and was told it was rebuilt not too long ago. It's super clean no oil build up, and no oil leakage.
AND TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY..

(The car does have it's imperfections, the roof is chipping paint, the rear bench seat needs to be redone, there's some small nicks and chips in the paint.)

I wish i could keep this car forever, because you don't see Impala wagons very often. But need the money to restore my dads Triumph.
I'M SURE THERE IS MORE I'M MISSING, SO IF you have any questions at all feel free to ask, my email is aagard3333@msn.com and my cell is 801-608-3557  Justin..
IF ANYONE WANTS A VIDEO I CAN SEND IT THROUGH EMAIL..

Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
