Power is supplied by a GM ZZ 572 / 620 HP Fuel Injected Crate Motor. This massive engine supplies excellent power and a huge torque curve. The Holley EFI fuel injection makes her run as smooth as any modern vehicle. The Vintage Air and the professionally done high-end custom leather interior makes driving this classic muscle car a pleasure. Backed by the famous Tremec 5 speed transmission which makes it enjoyable to drive around town or highway...you can really explore the huge power and torque range of this engine..(NOT a boring automatic). Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. General Motors has released a new video detailing the cabin's evolution from conception to execution, complete with commentary from Ryan Vaughn, performance car interior design manager with Chevrolet. The quick clip details how manufacturing, engineering and design within General Motors worked together from the first sketches to ensure no compromises had to be made later down the line. How novel.
With plenty of hides traced with contrast stitching and available real carbon fiber trim, the cabin looks to be a few hundred miles ahead of the C6. Given how readily critics derided the previous generation for its cabin, the C7 should make writers work a little harder to find something to complain about. Check out the video below for yourself.
