Here is a 1955 Chevy Bel Air 2 door hard top. Everything for the car is there. Except bumpers, glass, or soft rubber parts like carpet, weather stripping, bushings, etc. Here is a list of some of the work that has been done: it has new floor pan from the toe board all the through to the tail lights, there are no patches its all new it has had both quarter panels replaced both inter and outer rocker panels replaced trunk lid is new, package tray is new, it has a disk break conversion kit for the front, new tail lights, all the body parts are there... it will need driver door replaced. this is a crate engine ( Good Wrench 350) yes it is dirty in the pictures but it does run. ** it only has about 5,000 miles on it*** It does have have a new power steering box, Camaro rear end in good shape ( see pics) Drum breaks on the rear, This is a project car.. It has had a bunch of work that I have done! It could be finished without removing the body from the frame. but a rotisserie paint job would make this car awesome . I am including all the parts to put it together that I have (see pics) This is what the car is missing: both bumpers, radiator, clutch, fly wheel, Has a flex plate on it now. shocks, brake lines, all glass is missing, This car is about 80% complete. There is a few minor rust spots, that needs a attention. I can roll this car on your trailer if need be. local pick up only ask any and all questions! GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
