2006 Cadillac DTS Performance Model,Front Heated and cooled seats Heated back, Heated steering wheel, Cadillac made 4 versions of this fine automobile and the Performance Model is the top with more options then the other three with 291 HP and yet great gas mileage 17 City to 25 Highway on Regular gas. My wife and I are both retired and have decided to knock our Fleet down a few cars from 4 to 2 cars. Body in excellent "No Rust" condition except for right rear edge of wheel well where it encountered a fixed object and could probably be fixed with Paintless Body repair or left alone as we have done since it is almost not noticeable. Tires are Top of line Michelin with 90% tread left.

European Concerns Drive GM, But Beware Of The French Connection
GM's bid to rationalize Europe will impact the products that will be offered domestically.
It seems that Europe is defining the future of General Motors more so than its home North American market. Having axed Saturn, Pontiac and Hummer, GM has done a fairly good job of repositioning its remaining four divisions, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Buick and GMC. Cadillac carries the luxury banner. Chevrolet is aimed at the masses with cars and trucks along with a nod to performance thanks to Camaro and Corvette. Buick bridges the premium gap between Chevy and Cadillac, while GMC offers a hardcore work/upscale proposition.

2014 North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year finalists announced [w/poll]

The 2014 North American International Auto Show is right around the corner, which means it's high time we found out which cars and trucks would be finalists for the prestigious North American Car and Truck/Utility of the Year awards.
The finalists - three in cars and three in three trucks/utilities - are dominated by American brands, with two-thirds of the finalists hailing from either General Motors or Chrysler (don't worry Ford, there's always next year), while outliers from Mazda and Acura can be found in each contest. Here now is the list of finalists for the big prizes:
