2008 Silver Buick Enclave Loaded Leather Dvd Roofs Nav 3rd Row Low Reserve on 2040-cars
Humble, Texas, United States
Drove through some new road striping, some small paint splatters on rocker panels (can easily be removed with elbow grease). Runs perfect, remote start, heated seats, leather, Bose speakers, dual roofs, see photos! It's an awesome car that speaks for itself. Drive in luxury, great mpg for an SUV, and has a lot more pep than expected for a large 3rd row vehicle - the 3.6L 6 is a great motor. Very safe SUV including side airbags. Put the automatic into manual mode and it really gets around like a smaller car. This is a used vehicle, it isn't new, but it's in GREAT shape. Minor issues include: paint splatters mentioned, drivers seat worn some, and the Nav. DVD has to be reinserted from time to time (common read error issue on these). AC buttons are worn but we are nitpicking here. Someone will be very happy with this purchase. Why are we selling? Only because we bought a new Red Enclave. It's been the perfect vehicle for our family. Car is located at my home in Humble Texas. You are welcome to view and test before you bid. 2008 Buick Enclave CXL - Dual Sunroof - NAV - Rear Cam - Htd Leather - 7 Passenger - 19" Wheels - Very Clean - 98K Miles

GM recalling 1.5M cars in China for faulty bracket
Fri, 27 Dec 2013General Motors and its Chinese partners have announced their second recall in the People's Republic this year, following a 2,653-unit recall of the Cadillac SRX earlier this year. This latest recall affects nearly 1.5 million cars built between 2006 and 2012. It's not explicitly stated, but as there's no movement from the US NHTSA, we suspect that the cars in question were all Chinese-built rather than imports.
The vast majority of the affected vehicles are Buick Excelles (pictured), with 1.2 million units being recalled over a faulty bracket that's meant to secure the fuel pump. The Excelles in question were built between 2006 and 2012, while an additional 250,000 Chevrolet Sail superminis, built between April 2009 and October 2011, are being recalled for a similar reason.
According to the PRC's Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, the faulty bracket could crack and potentially cause a fuel leak.
2013 Buick Enclave
Mon, 29 Oct 2012GM's Flagship Lambda Is (Still) A Smooth Operator
Consumers shopping for a domestic full-size crossover have heard all about GM's triplets. The Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave are a very appealing and talented group of siblings. Entering their fifth year of production, albeit middle-age in the automotive industry, each is attractive, well-rounded and very capable on the paved dance floor. While all share nearly identical base DNA and the same basic running gear, subtle physical differences and unique personalities emerge between the trio when one digs a bit deeper.
The most polished of the threesome, without question, is the Enclave from Buick. Fresh off a mid-cycle update (as are its siblings), the flagship of the platform boasts a facelift, innovative new features and an upgraded demeanor for the new model year.
Buick Encore blitzes first-year sales predictions
Sat, 01 Mar 2014With its first full year of sales in the bag, it's safe to say that Buick has a hit on its hands with the Encore. US buyers have snatched up 31,046 of the small, premium crossovers since the Encore went on sale in January of 2013, while 97,311 were sold globally (not counting its counterparts from Opel and Vauxhall).
While we liked the Encore when we first drove it, we'll admit, we weren't sure how the tiny CUV would do. In fact, the first thing Executive Editor Chris Paukert wrote about the Encore was, "We admit it. We have no earthly idea how this whole thing is going to shake out." But it's done well, and has been subject to heavy demand over the past year, blowing away the estimates of analysts, who, according to an August story from Automotive News, projected no more than 18,500 units would be sold in 2013.
"Right out of the gate, demand for the Encore was high," Tony DiSalle, vice president of Buick marketing said in a statement. "It accounted for most of the segment's growth last year and that's because it offers the right safety, technology and features in the right-sized vehicle for many customers."
