I'm selling my beloved 2005 M3 Convertible. This car is the absolute joy of my life. I get stopped all the time with compliments about it. I just can't afford it anymore.
White color, which is hard to find.
Custom M3 decals on rear door sills.
This car has been babied for the last 2.5 years.
The exterior is in almost excellent condition.
Interior is in very good to excellent condition.
Harmon Kardon Stereo with iPod.
6-speed.
19" wheels
Frightenely fast.
An absolute pleasure to drive.
Runs strong, maintained religiously.
Just had its 60K service (almost $4K invested)
Factory Hand-free Bluetooth Phone/Steering wheel/Mic w/ buttons (Connects to my iPhone perfectly)

4 brand-new tires about 4K miles ago.

VIN: WBSBR93435PK08530
I had an insurance claim a few months ago - a steep driveway knocked the front spoiler off center. Insurance fixed that, but it shows up as an accident. This did not affect the drivability of this car whatsoever. Matter of fact the car looks even better now, for the new front spoiler is has no scratches on the underside, which the old one did.

This car runs very strong.
I have not had a single mechanical problem with it in the almost 3 years I've owned it. This is a beautiful BMW, and one day, when my financial situation improves, I'm going to buy another M3.

Hamann M6 Gran Coupe is all flared and shiny

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Oh, Hamann. After rolling out the ridiculously pink Mystère at this year's Geneva Motor Show, the tuning company has worked its mirror-finishing magic on the BMW M6 Gran Coupe, debuting this, the aptly named "Mirror" at the Frankfurt Motor Show. It sure is shiny, and a full 40 millimeters wider than the standard M6 GC.
Hamann says that the, um, "tailor-made suit" exterior treatment is made up of a new front bumper spoiler with large air intakes, side skirts, a new rear spoiler, and wing extensions out back. And the end result is... well, let's just call it noticeable. The special BMW rides on unique 21-inch wheels and sits a full 25 millimeters closer to the ground, as well.
As far as we can tell, Hamann hasn't upgraded the M6's 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 at all, though there's a new sport exhaust system that "depending on the application area, either noisily announce its presence or purr sportily." Sounds like it's as loud as its newfound appearance.

BMW, Toyota outline new tech joint venture, new sports car

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

Back in June, Toyota and BMW announced a "memorandum of understanding" outlining plans for the two companies to join forces on future products and technology development. On Thursday, they signed a more formal and binding agreement that goes further into detail about the partnership, and it all sounds pretty exciting. The two announced they will work together in four main areas:
Joint development of a fuel cell system
"Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle"

2015 BMW M4 Convertible is here to put wind in your sails

Thu, 03 Apr 2014

Each generation of the BMW M3 has included a convertible model. Even the distant E30, the patriarch of the M3 line, had an ultra-rare (only 787 were built) droptop model. The convertible became more common on the successive generations, with the hardtop-convertible E93 being the most recent. Considering this history, there seemed very little doubt that as the M3 became the M4, a convertible would be in the cards. Now, the new droptop has arrived.
Set for its global debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show, the 2015 BMW M4 Convertible features, like its forbearers, everything that's great about the hardtop variant while adding an unlimited amount of head room. That means the same 3.0-liter, 425-horsepower, 406-pound-foot, twin-turbocharged straight six sits under its domed hood, while either a six-speed stick or a seven-speed M dual-clutch transmission dispatches power to the fat rear tires.
As for specific differences between the hardtop and the new convertible, obviously, the droptop is heavier. A lot heavier. Where an M4 with a six-speed manual tips the scales at 3,530 pounds, the M4 Convertible weighs in at 4,055 pounds. Believe it or not, BMW has actually trimmed 90 pounds from the last-generation M3 convertible, code-named E93. This marginal weight reduction from the third-generation convertible to the fourth is barely half of the 174 pounds BMW was able to subtract when transitioning from M3 Coupe to M4 Coupe.
