1997 Bmw 318i Base Convertible 2-door 1.9l on 2040-cars
Avon Park, Florida, United States
This is a very nice vehicle for the year. It has some minor dents but nothing that a paint job cannot correct. The seats are in a very good condition. Everything works OK but for the radio which has a mind of its own. It might work one day and not the other day. I have not looked into this as this is my second car here in Florida and I barely use it. But someone told me that it could be a very minor 'fuse' problem. There is a converter in the trunk which again works when the radio works. All the other controls, clock, weather, heat, AC etc. work perfectly. The manual roof is very easy to put up and down and can be used as is but the material will have to be changed eventually although the mechanics are OK. There is small tear on the side of that roof and one on the plastic back window. The tires are practically new as well as the brakes. Those were bought and/or changed before I left Ohio to come to Florida (2 years ago) and like I said before, that car has been sitting in my driveway here in Florida most of the time. We did not drive the car to Florida as it was hauled by another vehicle. I have a cover so the car can be protected when not in use. So while it is in a very good condition for a 1997 and its mileage, it is not in a perfect condition. As mentioned before, it has normal wear and tear and other imperfections but at the end, it is a very good car. Because of a bad experience, I will not accept low feedback bidders. Thanks for looking and please do not hesitate to ask any questions.

BMW 5 Series wagon makes incognito grocery run by way of the 'Ring
Mon, 21 Jul 2014With a debut in 2009, it's high time that BMW delivered the world with the standard mid-cycle refresh of its popular 5 Series. While we aren't expecting to see it here in the United States, that freshening will include the vehicle shown above, the 5 Series wagon.
This is only the second time we've spotted the camo'd, long-roof 5er in the past year, and while it was chained to a flat-bed in those snaps, today, we can see it lapping the Nürburgring. In addition to the images from the track, we also have our first look at the cabin of the freshened 5 Series, although even it is covered in camouflage, making it quite difficult to spot anything of substance.
As for the exterior, expect modest changes for the second-half of the F10 5er's life, with typical tweaks like new headlights and taillights, and perhaps a freshened front fascia. Considering we last saw the upcoming 5 Series just over a year ago, we'd expect an auto show debut for this smoothed-over model in the not-so-distant future, with Paris a leading candidate.
2015 BMW 2 Series Convertible will flip its lid for $38,850

For the most part, they look almost identical to their coupe versions, except that they now boast an electrically folding soft top.
BMW is dropping the top of the 2 Series in early 2015 in the US with convertible versions of the 228i and M235i. They'll make their world debut at the Paris Motor Show later this year and will show their faces on this side of the pond at the 2014 Los Angeles International Auto Show.
2016 BMW 7 Series spied for the first time ever
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Ladies and gentlemen, Bimmerphiles and automotive voyeurs of all stripes: here is your next-generation BMW 7 Series. Captured in photographs for the first time ever while doing a spot of cold-weather testing in Sweden, this newly slim 7er will most likely debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015 and launch in the 2016 model year.
Sources indicate that BMW is targeting a much lighter curb weight for the 7 Series, and will use learnings gained with the i3 and i8 development to add carbon fiber-reinforced plastics in the construction. In return we'd expect the new model - which uses the internal model designation "G11" - to offer improvements in handling, acceleration and fuel economy. As with the current 7 Series lineup, expect the engine range to include turbocharged inline-six engines, one or more V8s and a V12 option.
It's fair to say that, with the car's debut still years down the road, that BMW will work to launch with an impressive suite of in-car technology, too. A completely new version of iDrive shouldn't be ruled out. These shots mark the beginning of a long journey to 2015, and we expect to have loads more information to share in the coming months and years, so stay tuned.
