Welcome to a great opportunity. You are viewing a very sporty, exclusively Florida-kept and driven 2004 Volkswagen Passat GL Turbo. Want to talk about low cost of ownership? This Turbo-charged 1.8 liter Passat gets upwards of 38 mpg. And certainly an attractive color combination. High-gloss Fresco Green Metallic exterior finish with Beige leather interior. Combined with a factory power sunroof, and attractive aluminum alloy wheels, this Passat looks very good and is reliable as can be, with huge fuel economy. This is a loaded model and it runs and drives superbly. It has plenty of power from its 1.8 liter Turbo-charged fuel-injected powerplant and gets unequalled fuel economy and bulletproof reliability. The smooth-shifting 4-speed automatic transmission allows you to be in total command of its performance and everything works perfectly and properly. We have just serviced this Passat and at only 92,671 we generously did the 100,000 mile scheduled service. New timing chain, gaskets and water pump have been installed per factory specifications, as well as complete fluid changes and filters. This is an extraordinary car for a student, delivering excellent reliability and many creature comforts, including factory power sunroof, high-power audio system with both CD and cassette, driver's side power seat, power mirrors, heated seats, full power options, factory security system and even more. It has a complete set of nearly new Michelin All-season radial tires. Michelin's are the best, and they allow this Passat to handle like a dream...Wet or Dry...or Snow! The exterior is extra-clean, but appears to have a key scratch on the passenger side doors. One scratch is very fine, the shorter one is a little deeper. The leather interior does not have any rips or tears and this Passat GL Turbo was owned by a non-smoker. We have this attractive, reliable and safe, locally owned VW sedan listed for 7 days with No Reserve. That's right, the highest bidder gets it. The latest January 2014 NADA Edition of the Used Car Guide shows the retail value of this 2004 Volkswagen Passat GL Turbo to be upwards of $7,675. This VW has never been in an accident. Crystal Clean AutoCheck history with absolutely no accident history or title problems of any kind, all she needs is a new home. We have the Florida title in-hand ready for immediate transfer. It has only 92,000 original, sunny Florida miles, and it was a local trade-in on a brand new car. Believe me, being a Florida vehicle has major benefits...it make a BIG difference. No rust, no rot, no snow, no salt, no potholes, no hills...aside from the obvious reasons to buy a Florida vehicle, your undercarriage and transmission will also thank you. This car has never been smoked in. Imagine all the fun you will have with this sexy Passat with appearance package including alloy wheels and factory fog lamps, while still driving one of the safest vehicles on the road, and waving to your friends at the gas station as you pass by. We can assist with transport within the Continental US, and of course, free airport pick-up is available from Jacksonville International Airport. Don't miss out on this one. Please feel free to call or e-mail us and enjoy a wonderful buying experience. Call 561.283.9511 and ask for Steve. This is a great student car, or personal sedan that has been completely serviced ($1,500 our cost) and is ready for another, trouble-free 90,000 miles. It drives superbly, everything works perfectly, and this Passat gets great fuel economy and has a host of luxury options. Spectacular exterior finish and leather interior makes this a much better choice than a base model. Bid with confidence and bid to win! We do charge a nominal $299 dealer fee. Please feel free to call 561-283-9511 for more details or a walk around the vehicle. I'll be happy to tell you all about how incredible it drives and looks, and also about the services we've performed. If you live locally, come by for a test drive! She is ready for a long road trip cross-country, or across the campus. Good Luck to everyone bidding on this No Reserve, high-bidder gets it auction!

New VW Beetle Convertible ad needs no disguise
Mon, 18 Feb 2013Convertibles make you do funny things. Ask someone if they'd drive a hardtop in near freezing temperatures with all the windows down and they might not even answer, thinking the question so ridiculous. Give that same person a convertible they love and you might just have to ask them to please put the top up even when snow is on the ground.
That guy has to take precautions to enjoy his proclivities, and as this new ad for the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible shows, not everyone understands. Have a watch below, and note that there's just one woman in the minute-long spot, and she's nowhere near the car. Seriously, why didn't VW run this commercial during the Super Bowl?
Audi CEO Rupert Stadler: Ducati is not for sale
Sat, Jun 18 2016"Ducati is not for sale." Those words, attributed to Audi CEO Rupert Stadler, are about as clear and definitive as can be, and they reiterate a previous statement about the potential sale of the premium Italian motorcycle brand that was made in March of this year. "[Ducati and Lamborghini] belong to Audi and, together with us, have an excellent future," said Stadler. Thing is, Audi, as well-off and established as it may be, still falls under the Volkswagen umbrella. And, as you're surely aware, things haven't exactly been smooth sailing for the VW Group over the last several months. The German automaker has squirreled away billions of dollars in anticipation of the legal fallout that's sure to come from the falsification of vehicle emissions data, and that's going to leave the company strapped for cash. All of that bad news led to speculation that VW could sell off some of its non-core businesses. What of the future of the Scania and Man heavy truck brands? Those don't currently appear to be on the auction block, either. VW's continued involvement in the HD truck segment was announced as part of the brand's TOGETHER - Strategy 2025 plan, in which Volkswagen outlined plans to push further into vehicle electrification and vehicle autonomy.
