This Camper Runs and Drives Great, the tires have less than 1000 miles on them. The Westy also has new brakes. The previous owner said the engine was rebuilt 15000 miles ago but I do not have any documentation but the engine is in really good condition. The floors are in excellent condition with no holes. It has the original linoleum flooring in the rear that is in good condition. The Westy has all of its original camping gear and it is all in very good condition. The dash top is crack free and the rubber floor mat is excellent. As far as rust goes the worst spot is in front of the drivers rear wheel well. Everything else is pretty much surface rust. The underside had been undercoated and is in very good condition, however as you can see in pictures the undercoating is coming off. I have a clean clear title to the VW in hand ready to transfer to the new owner. The odometer show 63XXX miles and I believe they are correct miles. Please ask all questions before committing to buy.

The following terms of sale apply to all of my online sales.

Payment Methods

Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers. All funds must be in US dollars only. I will also accept PayPal however buyer must pay all fees. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposit

Buyer must contact me within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $750.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of listing’s end to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

2024 CES Mega Photo Gallery: Honda concepts, a VinFast truck and flying cars galore

The 2024 rendition of CES is coming to a close, and per usual, it was full of all the funky, futuristic tech the show is long known for. It’s also full of cars and legitimately forward-thinking tech related to cars, and we were on the ground to see it all and bring photos to you in this Mega Gallery.Â A boatload of manufacturers attended and made big reveals, from the Star Wars-like Honda concept cars to a pickup truck from VinFast, the sort of debuts we got to see ran the gamut. Of course, there were plenty of reveals and vehicles on the floor that were even more outlandish than concepts from traditional OEMs like Honda and Mercedes. Volkswagen to add 50k jobs by 2018

Volkswagen still has its eyes set on becoming the top global automaker by 2018, and to get there, it's apparently going to need more boots on the ground. Automotive News Europe is reporting that VW is looking to increase its staff by 50,000 over the next five years - an increase of nine percent - which does not include an increase in its US dealer network.
According to the report, a majority of the growth will come from China where the automaker is also looking to double its production capacity in the same time frame. The Volkswagen Group is already expected to rival General Motors for the top sales spot in China this year, and such a rapid expansion in the region could make a good springboard for sales increases in other countries.

A fix is finally coming for some diesel Volkswagens in America

According to Automotive News, the EPA has approved a fix for select Volkswagen and Audi 2.0-liter diesel vehicles. The fix applies to 2015 VW Beetles, Golfs, Golf SportWagens, Jettas, Passats, and Audi A3s. Unfortunately for a majority of people saddled with cheating VWs, Automotive News reports that only about 70,000 vehicles will get this fix. The remainder of the 475,000 affected cars don't have an approved fix yet. The fix first involves a software update. Later, a particulate filter and additional catalysts will be installed with a further software update. According to Automotive News, the hardware portion will be available next year. Despite the small number of vehicles approved, this may give VW owners some hope that they'll be able to make their cars emissions compliant. Volkswagen also recently got approval for a fix of nine million cars in Europe, and the company may be close to a fix for diesel V6 models. However, for owners of 2.0-liter models uninterested in waiting for a fix, they can still participate in the buyback. Volkswagen would prefer that repurchased cars aren't stripped of parts beforehand, though.
