Porsche Renndienst (Racing Services) Tribute.

How many of have these have you seen? There is not many out there. This Panel has been stored away in a barn for the past 27 years. All the lights work as they should including the dome light. The wipers work as well. Even the gas gauge works! The horn needs replaced. The original radio is present but the condition is unknown. I have replaced all the brake hydraulics and the brakes work as they should. I have installed a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. The Transmission shifts as it should and does not pop out of any gears. I have also installed new tires. All of the glass appears to be the original glass. There is very little rust in the panel, it only needs 3 of the jack points replaced. The frame, cargo floors, front floors, and doglegs are in great condition. The battery tray is excellent, it even still has the original battery tie down! Working heat. The working odometer shows 66724 miles have have a written journal that states the engine was rebuilt at 62730 miles (20 years ago) Start easily with no smoke on start up or running. The paint is decent with rock chips and scratches, I would say it is a 6 out of 10. Clear Title. Please text or email me if you have any questions.

Payment Methods

Cash (in person), certified check, bank transfers. All funds must be in US dollars only. I will also accept PayPal however buyer must pay all fees. Please be sure to have full payment and/or approved financing in place before making your final bid.

Deposit

Buyer must contact me within 24 hours of accepted offer, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $750.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of listing’s end to secure the vehicle.

Payment of Balance Due

The remainder is due (plus applicable fees and taxes) within 5 days. If no contact is made within 24 hours I reserve the right to re-list the vehicle or sell it otherwise. All financial transactions must be completed before delivery of the vehicle.

Shipping

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will assist the buyer with finding a shipping company. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after leaving our premises. If the vehicle is going to be shipped, full payment must be received before the vehicle is delivered to the shipping company.

Host Jonathon Buckley interviews EV West owner Michael Bream and test drives a converted 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia. What drives EV West to electrify classic cars may surprise some. "We're not doing this because we're the hardcore environmentalists or we're trying to save the earth," says Bream. "If we can't at least double your horsepower and torque, we won't touch the car." In fact, EV West brings a race-tested performance pedigree to back up those boasts. The company competed in the electric class at Pikes Peak, has run through the desert at Baja, and in general has successfully proved that battery-electric vehicles can compete at a high level. Head of dieselgate clean up set to leave Volkswagen after a year on the job

After just over a year on the job, Volkswagen's compliance chief Christine Hohmann-Dennhardt is set to leave the automaker by the end of the month. In an announcement, Volkswagen confirmed the departure, saying the separation was due to a difference of opinions regarding the role and duties of the compliance chief. Automotive News Europe reports that there were frequent clashes between Hohmann-Dennhardt and senior Volkswagen employees. Hohmann-Dennhardt was brought in on last year to help manage the cleanup in the wake of the diesel emissions scandal. She came over to Volkswagen from Daimler, parent company of Mercedes-Benz. Before that, she served as a judge in Germany's constitutional court. Volkswagen hasn't announced a replacement.
