1996 Toyota Tacoma LX, 4x4 Xtra-Cab Truck. It is a 2.7L 4 Cylinder Engine with a Automatic Transmission. It is Green Exterior with Gray Interior. The truck is equiped with Tilt, Cruise, A/C, 15" Factory Steel Wheels with 4 Matching Jetson Innovation P225/75R15 Tires, Factory Toyota Bed Liner, Sliding Rear Window, Factory In Dash Clock and a After Market Pioneer DEH 425 AM/FM CD Stereo. I also have the Factory Stereo to go with the truck and the Front Factory Floor Mats. I just purchased this Tacoma from a friend of mine, an older, larger gentlemen who bought a newer truck with more room. He has owned the truck for the past 2 1/2 years and has taken excellent care of it. The truck only has 123,974 Original Miles.Truck does not Leak or Burn Oil, 4 Wheel Drive works as it should, this truck is Mechanically Sound. Frame is good! It is currently inspected in Pennsylvania until December, 2014. The interior is very clean, it is nice except there is about a 2" tear on the Passengers Side Seat. I have a receipt for Brake Rotors and Calipers dated March, 2012. A receipt for Front Struts and Wheel Alignment at 106,000 Miles, dated December, 2012. And a receipt for Pa. State Inspection, at 121,942 Miles, all 4 tires were 6 / 32nds and the Front Brakes were 7B, Rear Brakes were 3B, dated December 31, 2013. This Tacoma has NEVER Been in an Accident, nor has it been used for 4-Wheeling Fun. The Original Factory Paint should be detailed, it has the Original Factory Stripe down the sides. The Passengers Side Front Fender and the Drivers Side Rear Wheel Weld have just started to rust a bit and should be taken care of right away. Other then that the truck only has about 4 or 5 very small dings, a paint chip on the front of the hood almost the size of a dime, NO major dents. got some scratches throughout, mostly the tailgate and the passengers side rear quarter, bottom of the inside of the doors are nice, lower inside seam of the tailgate is nice, back seam of the bed where the bed liner ends is nice, no rust, the interior is very clean, truck is straight and mechanically sound. It could use a new rear bumper. I bought this truck on April 14, have not driven it much, but the little bit I have driven it, it drives nice. Everything seems to work as it should, I almost forgot, the Emergency Brake needs to be fixed. I have posted 24 photo's for you to view and I have tried to describe this truck the best I could and be up front and honest about everything I know, I don't want to waist your time or mine, no surprises! I don't like when it happens to me! This is a Well Taken Care Of Tacoma with only 123,974 Original Miles. James recently wrote a head-to-head comparison of the 2021 Toyota Sienna and 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, and he talks us through the results. John recently reviewed the 2022 Kia Carnival, which is replacing the Kia Sedona. After discussing the minivan field as a whole, our editors identify some reasonable minivan alternatives in the SUV and crossover realms. Moving along, they talk about driving the long-term Hyundai Palisade and the new Mitsubishi Outlander before discussing their favorite highlights from the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show. Mazda CX-5 named Japan's Car of The Year, Subaru BR-Z wins "Special Award"
Mon, 03 Dec 2012The Mazda CX-5 stamped its Kodo design and SkyActiv technology authority all over the Japan Car of the Year awards, taking the top prize ahead of the Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT 86. It is Mazda's second victory in the last ten years, the 2005 MX-5 claiming the same trophy, and the fourth time the Hiroshima company has won.
The award is decided by 60 local "automotive experts and journalists," and open to any passenger car released in Japan from November 1, 2011 to October 31, 2012 that has sold more than 500 units. Each judge gets 25 votes, his or her top vote getting 10 points, the rest of the points being spread among the judge's choice for the next best four cars.
The second-place getters were the Toyobaru twins with 318 votes, the surprise being they didn't beat or get any closer to the crossover. The Subaru BRZ did claw some mojo back, earning the Special Award given to cars that have made "an exceptional impact." The BMW 3 Series was third overall and won the Import Car of the Year award with plenty of room between it and the second place Range Rover Evoque.
Toyota i-Road is no less strange in the flesh
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We've seen plenty of three-wheeled creations in our day, but none quite like the Toyota i-Road Concept. The "personal mobility vehicle" offers seating for two with driver and passenger positioned in a tandem position. While that may sound more like a motorcycle than a car, the closed cockpit means riders don't need a helmet. The design also takes a page from the 2008 Peugeot HyMotion3 Concept with an articulating front suspension that allows the driver to lean through corners thanks to "Active Lean" self-balancing technology. Unlike the funky Pug, however, the i-Road is a fully electric plug-in vehicle.
While there are just five-horsepower on hand from an electric motor, the i-Road should serve up a range of around 30 miles thanks to its lithium-ion battery, and Toyota claims the cells can be topped off in three hours with a "conventional domestic power supply." Sounds majestic. Take in the full press release below.
