1976 Celica GT

This is a restoration project or a drift car or a mother-daughter father-son or any of the above kind of project.  It has air-conditioning and the 20 A-Ringin approximately hundred and 60,000 miles on it. It's an off-color white with tan interior it has a five speed manual transmission. It has the original wheels and hubcaps they're all there most of the lights are there the glass is good. The body is straight except for a few Nix,dents which I will take pictures of on request. It is in Arizona car which means to most of you that know it is a dry body.  It's not to say that it doesn't have surface rust  but the cancer kind of rust goes all away through the causes people to buy new body panels or frame rails and that kind of stuff is nonexistent on the vehicle.

It will need a super good cleaning inside and out the headliner will need to be replaced. However the vehicle itself isn't really excellent condition considering it's from 1976 and you simply don't see these vehicles anymore on craigslist or even eBay. I find it to be a great project and I'm not looking to win the lottery or anything in selling it however I will not give it away. I bought it for a friend however that didn't work out. The downside of the car is I have a title for it, however the people did not get it notarized appropriately since then the two people I got it from have had a  lovers quarrel that his ended up in restraining orders so getting either one of them in the same company and in the company of a notary is impossible.  I have tried my level best to track down one or both parties to see whether not I can get something done however when I try to track down one of the parties I usually get irate phone calls with people asking why would you even want to talk to that human being so you can see the predicament I am in.

I did get an inspection to acquire a bonded title in the state of Arizona I will provide that Annabella sale and the current title the keys and everything else.  I just don't want to see something like this go to waste it is a damn shame as you don't see them anymore and it really could be an awesome little car.  To the international buying community I've done this before and I'm getting better at it as time goes along to the buyers in nontitle states I will provide you a bill of sale

I'm willing to do anything within reason to help load on site here at my house and I will email or text or phone call back and forth with anyone that I can as much as possible my schedule is extremely busy however I can be a reasonable and good person

Like I said the car itself is in really good shape for its age and there's no rust and has a straight body there is air-conditioning and like I said it will need a good cleaning but it's not too far gone I simply just don't want to let it waste away and no one ever get any use out of it please ask any questions I will try to respond appropriately in a timely manner everyone please bid accordingly and have a great day thanks so much

Jeremy Clarkson names 10 worst cars for 2015 and 2016

Wed, Aug 24 2016

When Jeremy Clarkson, outspoken automotive journalist, ex- Top Gear host, and co-host on The Grand Tour, drives a car he doesn't like he doesn't pull his punches. As Jezza harshly puts it, cars shouldn't just be a form of transportation. These 10 cars made Clarkson's "the terrible 10" list on his column in The Sunday Times for lacking imagination and not giving the journalist "the Fizz," which his list of top 10 cars did. In typical Clarkson fashion, the list is controversial. Some of the cars on Clarkson's list have received praise from other outlets, which shouldn't really come as a surprise since he usually goes against the majority's opinion. Nonetheless, there's at least one car that will catch you off guard. To get a glimpse at Clarkson's reviews and the entire list of cars, head over to his column in The Sunday Times. Senator pushes for up to life sentence for auto execs found to delay recalls

Tue, Aug 5 2014

Democratic Senator Claire McCaskill (shown above) has had it with automotive execs stalling when it comes to recalls. The Missiourian has proposed a new bill, the Motor Vehicle and Highway Safety Enhancement Act, which aims to improve the automotive safety following the high-profile fiascos involving General Motors and Toyota. Aside from a doubling of the budget for the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration over the next six years and the removal of the $35-million limit for fining automakers, the plan includes a provision that would punish auto executives if it's discovered they knowingly delayed recalls. How will it punish them, you ask? Oh, you know, just life in prison. The bill "gives federal prosecutors greater discretion to bring criminal prosecutions for auto safety violations and increases the possible penalties, including up to life in prison for violations that result in death," McCaskill's office told The Detroit News. If a delayed recall led to serious injuries, meanwhile, execs could still face a 15-year stint behind bars. As for that change in the fine structure for automakers, the removal of the limit is complemented by a hefty increase in the per-vehicle fine, from $5,000 to $25,000. With this change, GM could have been on the hook for $55 billion (with a "b") in fines for its bumbling of the ignition switch recall, rather than just $35 million. The News says, though, that NHTSA has "wide discretion" in handing out the fines. Considering a $55-billion fine is enough to sink any automaker, it is unlikely that such a monumental sum would be handed out. Still, the potential threat of such a death sentence should be enough for any automaker to sit up and take notice. "With millions of Americans behind the wheel every day, and more than 33,000 killed on our roads each year, we've got to do more to keep our cars and the roads we drive them on safe," McCaskill said, according to The News. "Painful recent examples at Toyota and GM have shown us we also must make it easier to hold accountable those who jeopardize consumers' safety. For too long, auto safety resources have remained virtually stagnant while cars and the safety challenges they present have become more complex." What do you think? Do you agree with McCaskill's proposed bill? Should the punishments for automakers and execs be more or less harsh? Have your say in Comments. News Source: The Detroit NewsImage Credit: J.

Auto execs surveyed say VW, BMW most likely to grow

Thu, 17 Jan 2013

A new survey of top global automotive executives indicates both Volkswagen and BMW are the most likely to grow their market share over the next five years.
Tax advisory firm KPMG LLP has released its 14th annual Global Automotive Executive Survey, which includes responses from over 200 executives. A total of 81 percent of respondents said they expect to see Volkswagen make gains, compared to 70 percent last year. BMW, meanwhile, saw 70 percent of those surveyed say they believe the company will increase its market share. That's a jump of 7 percentage points over last year. This is the first time in the history of the survey that BMW has claimed the second-place spot.
Meanwhile, Hyundai has seen its perceived market share potential slacken for the third year in a row. Around 61 percent of those surveyed predicted gains for Hyundai, down from 63 in 2012. Toyota also has a surprising year, but for just the opposite reason. While the manufacturer had slipped in ranking since 2011, it enjoyed the largest increase of any company in the 2013 survey, jumping to 68 percent from 44 percent last year.
