This is a one owner 2004 Toyota Prius Hybrid with a clean AutoCheck, Pay no attention to the miles. It runs and drives 100%, is very fuel efficient and is being sold with no reserve.

The 1.5L electric/gas four cylinder engine purrs along without a miss, smoke or fluid loss. The hybrid system is working perfectly. The hybrid battery is charging and assisting as necessary and the auto stop engages when stopped. There are no "check engine" or hybrid system warning lights. The automatic transmission is shifting smoothly without hesitation. The steering, suspension and brakes are all working normally. No exhaust leaks.

The exterior is very clean considering the miles. The paint is a glossy silver. There are no major dents or dings. Most noticeable is a small scrape on the right rear door (see pic). No body rust. The tires, on factory alloy wheels, have about 50% tread (see pic). The lights and lenses are bright and clear with no cracks. No windshield cracks.

The interior is gray cloth. There are no holes, rips or wear areas on the seats. They are in good condition considering the miles. All the power options such as windows, side mirrors, cruise control, etc. work as designed. There is a factory sound system with CD. The heat is hot and the AC is cold. The interior is very comfortable.

There are no current mechanical issues and no indication of any impending problems. This vehicle has the same fuel efficient qualities as the newer high priced models. The new owner will be able to drive this vehicle home, with confidence, no matter where they live.

Toyota Mirai might be the name of new fuel cell car; it means 'future'

Anybody remember the Ford Futura? It wasn't exactly a world-beater of a car, so we don't think the name Toyota's has apparently chosen for its first production fuel-cell vehicle is a tribute of sorts. Though one never knows. Maybe Toyota just likes 18-inch-tall EVs. The Japanese automaker has apparently settled on a nameplate for its fuel-cell model, and the name will be "Mirai," which means "future" in Japanese, Bloomberg News says, citing a person familiar with the process that it didn't identify. Bloomberg couldn't get anyone with Toyota to comment on record about the name – and neither could AutoblogGreen Â– but we do remember that Toyota has bandied this name about before, so we're not setting anything down in stone quite yet. Last month, Toyota said the new fuel cell car would debut in Japan next April and would be priced at about $69,000 before any sort of government incentives kicked in. The company hasn't revealed details about a US release date or pricing here, but indicated that US sales would start where there's already some semblance of a hydrogen-refueling infrastructure. That pretty much means California and nowhere else in the states. The fuel-cell model is said to have a full-tank range of about 435 miles and that the tank can be filled up in about three minutes, similar to a gas-powered vehicle. In other words, the future.

Ford F-150 bumps Camry from top of Cars.com American Made Index

With July 4th just around the corner, what better time could there be for Cars.com to announce that the Ford F-150 is the Most American car of 2013? This may be especially true since it was the Toyota Camry, a car produced by a company based in Japan, that had held the top spot from 2009 to 2012.
Cars.com compiles its Most American list by considering the amount of parts each vehicle uses that come from America, where it's final assembly takes place and how many units per year are sold. "While the assembly point and domestic parts content of the F-150 didn't change from 2012-2013, vehicle sales are responsible for bumping the F-150 to the top spot," according to Patrick Olsen, Editor-in-Chief of Cars.com.
As far as automakers go (as opposed to individual models), Toyota retains the top spot it held in 2012, with General Motors, Chrysler, Ford and Honda (in that order) rounding out the list. The motivation behind this list each year, according to Olsen, is "to help car shoppers understand that 'American-Made' extends beyond just the Detroit three" and because "a study we conducted in 2012 indicated that 25 percent of shoppers surveyed preferred to buy American."
