1995 Toyota Land Cruiser Base Sport Utility 4-door 4.5l on 2040-cars
Albany, New York, United States

You are bidding on a restored, garaged and very meticulously maintained 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser. The truck is a very clean and tastefully modified example of what a land cruiser can be. The interior has been completely restored with a brand new oem carpet and headliner. The carpet was one of 6 left in the entire country at the time. The leather seats have been re-wrapped in the stock color with Katzkin covers. Everything has been professionally and tastefully done. The truck needs nothing mechanically and is in perfect working condition. The exterior paint is shiny and 99.9% free of any dings and major dents. Probably 1 or 2 on the entire truck. The exhaust is a cat back Borla system which retails for $500. The look and sound of this exhaust is second to none. Under the hood, all major hoses have been replaced with brand new oem hoses including the phh (pesky heater hose), air intake hose replaced with a stainless steel EMS powered one. All new valve cover gaskets. All fluids have been changed regularly. New Battery, spark plugs, cap and rotor. Truck comes with a Pioneer cd deck and a remote starter. Tires are 5 Nitto Terra Grapplers 285/75/16 on 4 very rare Japanese JDM 3 piece wheels. I believe they are Work wheels. The 5th wheel underneath the truck is wrapped in a 285/75 Nitto Terra Grappler as well however is on an oem 16 inch spare. The headlights are hid 6k.
The bad: 2 small rust spots. 1 below the rear drivers side door, the other is a small spot on the top right corner of the windshield (both noted in photos). High mileage. At 226,484….this truck does indeed have high mileage but with the work that has been done to maintain it, I wouldn't doubt this truck could go another 200,000 miles. This truck has been with me since 2011. I am the third owner and I garaged and babied this truck. No mudding or rock crawling here. |

Ford F-150 Raptor, Nissan Pathfinder and Frontier, and Cadillac Blackwings | Autoblog Podcast #663
Fri, Feb 5 2021In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by News Editor Joel Stocksdale and Associate Editor Byron Hurd. It's a packed show this week, and the three dive straight into the week's truck loads of news, starting with the unveiling of the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V Blackwing variants, followed by the 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor and the 2022 Nissan Pathfinder and Frontier. Next, they move on to what they've been driving. For Byron, that means more trucks. Lots and lots of trucks. Joel recently spent some time behind the wheel of a Bronco Sport, and the three discuss its merits as both an off- and on-road crossover. From this, they segue into a "Spend My Money" featuring Senior Producer Chris McGraw's neighbor, who acquired an older Forest Service Bronco and wants tips on what to do with it. Autoblog Podcast #663 Get The Podcast iTunes – Subscribe to the Autoblog Podcast in iTunes RSS – Add the Autoblog Podcast feed to your RSS aggregator MP3 – Download the MP3 directly Rundown News 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, CT4-V Blackwing bring big performance back to the brand 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor revealed, packing EcoBoost power, coil suspension and factory 37s 2022 Nissan Frontier enters the modern midsize truck world with big redesign 2022 Nissan Pathfinder debuts with fresh new duds, no more CVT What we're driving: 2021 Ford F-150 2021 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 2021 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro 2021 Ford Bronco Sport Spend My Money Feedback Email – Podcast@Autoblog.com Review the show on iTunes Autoblog is now live on your smart speakers and voice assistants with the audio Autoblog Daily Digest. Here's the 2017 Toyota 86: Don't call it a Scion
Fri, Feb 5 2016After we heard the bells toll for Scion yesterday, we told you that the Scion FR-S will transform into a Toyota. That's right: just a rebadging. The practical question is, which badge? The philosophical question, which we can't answer yet, is where it'll sit in the pantheon of front-engined, rear-drive Toyota sports cars, of which the Supra was the last one to visit our shores, from 1992 until 1998 in its fourth generation. And as if summoned by this conversation, this camouflaged prototype appeared. Our best guess is that this is going to be the US-bound, Toyota-badged version of the Subaru BRZ and all the other 86-badged variants: the Toyota 86 (in Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South America, and South Africa), Toyota GT86 (in Europe and New Zealand again), and Toyota FT86 (in Nicaragua and Jamaica). For simplicity's sake, let's call it a Toyota 86. Peer into the 86's swirly camo, and it looks like the car is going in for a light refresh. The lower intake in the front fascia, if it's representative of a production part, adopts a different shape and is considerably wider and narrower than either the BRZ or FR-S units. It also appears that the turn signal and its surround are reshaped, different than any of the current variants. Changes out back appear mild. The area around the license plate seems to be smoother, and there is likely a predictable light restyle of the bumper skin and defuser under the camo. We don't expect a significant power increase, and certainly not a turbocharger (sorry!), but crossing fingers wouldn't do any harm. Related Video:
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
