Buyer Beware. Do not purchase a motor from this company. Their warranty has so many loop holes and conditions it is worthless. Bought a motor from them, first one didnt even run twenty minutes, returned it and 3 weeks later finally got motor back, with the same old oil filter on it. The filter had metal in it, along with metal and paint flakes in oil pan and throughout the motor in addition it has been bored .060... view more. Charlie Silver the owner refuses to give a refund and will not speak to you on the phone. He hides behind his email. He is a liar along with all his staff, especially his brother John. Look up Complaints against US ENGINES on the internet, its quit a eye opener. 32 complaints against them with BBB in past 12 months.

RIP OFF

They have a warrenty for life be cause they don`t stand behind it anyway. If you purchase it has no warrenty. Nothing is there fault. Anything that can happen to a motor will be your fault therefor your warrenty is now void. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF...

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE MUST READ!!!!

BOUGHT A 383 STROKER FROM THEM, THEY SAID I COULD CHANGE MY 350 MAG JUST NEEDED A HARMONIC BALANCER, MY MECHANIC PUT THE ENGINE IN AND IT HAD A TERRIBLE VIBRATION, THEY TOLD MY MECHANIC TO CHECK ALL THIS STUFF AND THEN DO A COMM P CHECK. EVERYTHING WAS FINE SO THEY HAD HIM PACK THE ENGINE UP TO SEND BACK. THE FREIGHT COMPANY BUSTED THE TOP OFF MY ENGINE, AT LEAST THATS WHAT US ENGINE TOLD ME. excelent customer service

bought a set of heads last week (cores only) and was let out the door without paying until I was sure they would work for my application. I agread to pay when satisfied. Thisn kind of trust in customer service does no exist any more. Very pleased. Thanks

""Total Rip Off!!!""

Avoid US Engne at all costs! This place doesn`t stand by their warranty, nor do they care about cutomer relations. They shipped a motor with plastic straps holding it down. The motor fell of the pallet during shipment. Broken roker arms, bent push rods, and who know what else. Engine ended up failing after it was repaired, and they wouldn`t stand by the warranty.

sold a marine engine that did not run--said that all problems were cause by my mechanic .kept engine core and never returned my $1000.00 deposit. Worst experience I have had .This owner should be in jail.

do not let the warranty fool you

had an engine rebuilt by us engines. it ran for 2 weeks, and the warranty says that all work must be authorized, and us engines will not authorize any work on it. Mechanic estimates around a thousand (more)to fix it.I will be taking us engines to court as I have 2 different certified mechanics statements that the problem is the rebuilders fault.

STOP while you`re ahead!

Please do not do buisness with these people. I am a fool for doing so. I did not heed the warning from the person that wrote the previous review and simply wrote them off as a cry baby. The fact is that the reviewer and I had eerily similar interactoins with these clowns. This was by far my worst experience with ANY company I`ve ever dealt with. I had en enging replaced and the first time they tried to return it to ... view moreme it had a horrible miss and the trans. wouldn`t recognize 1st. gear. Yet they stood there smiling with a >$6k service bill dangling off the warranty. They claimed the "injectors were dirty" and it wasn`t included in the cost of the enging rebuild. This was not the case. After having the dealer complete their botched work and an added 2k I have my vehicle back. Trust me... I am just brushing over the many discrepencies and the unprofessionalism that one would suffer if you put your vehicle in these peoples hands. I hope carma will find its way to these people because I`d suspect there somthing comming down the pike and I won`t be good. I`d hate to be them. <EOM>

US Engine Rating - Very Poor

All, My experience with US Engine was horrifying. When trying to get a deal sent in stone you never talk to the same person twice (get it in writing! They will not honor anything). They told me it would take 2 weeks to rebuild my engine it took twice that long. When I tried to pay with a credit card I was notified that a 3% fee would be added to the already inflated price I had to pay I had to get a money ord... view moreer to get my vehicle back, they would even take a personal check (I suppose they the owner does not trust anyone because he knows himself) After I got my vehicle back I found that all of the premium parts that should have been reinstalled where stolen and replaced with inferior parts (head covers, manifolds, spark arrestors ect) cost me $1,500 to get the engine back to factory spec. (take a picture of you engine before they do anything) All said (do yourself a favor and take you vehicle to a reputable shop and pay the premium...US Engine will make you wish you had)
