I won`t go there for service ever again

I`ve given them two chances, the first time I had an air leak around my sunroof that whistled while I drove. I paid their $120 diagnostic fee and they put some silicone around the seal to soften it up. The next day it was whisling so loud I couldn`t hear the radio. I took it back and they charged another $250 for a new seal / with labor but no credit for the first days payment.

It`s bee a year since I was ther... view moree last so I decided to give them another chance. My check engine light came on so I stopped at a local mechanic to have it checked. The local guy put on the computer reader and told me that the O2 sensor rwas bad (he told me which one). but did not have the part. I waited for about 10 days but he couldn`t come up with the O2 sensor needed. I drove to Monte Shelton.

I told the service advisor what was wrong and he said they would have to analyze the problem because generic readers may not give them all the information needed. He gave me an estimate for $120 to $240 to find out what the issue was and if it could be fixed for under the $240 they would complete it. I tried to clarify, if it came out to be more would the diagnost fee be absorbed into the repair cost. He raised his voice and repeated the same thing he told me the first time.

After their diagnosis, at no suprise, it was the same sensor the other garage told me it was. They took $120 and told me the repair and intall would be $325. The diagnostic fee is seperate and wouldn`t be credited to the repair.
