I came across the state to purchase a "clean" and mechanically sound Subaru. Upon inspection I found that the car was previously wrecked and poorly repaired. The car stunk like cigarettes and I found dog hair through out the interior. The clutch was started to fail when I test drove it. The car is still being advertised: "RUNS AND DRIVES EXCELLENT". The salesman previously denied any of the cars faults un... view moretil I directed him to my findings. He still tried to sell me the car stating it came with a warranty. I then carefully read the fine print and informed him that the clutch was on covered under warranty. Consumer Beware! If you don`t have mechanical knowledge use a trusted mechanic and buy from a reputable dealer!
