Some years ago Mr. David Whately went above and beyond the call of duty as a car dealer. I think he is the very best as a car salesman and man. He had an old Halliburton car on his lot that I wanted to purchase but needed a bit to time to get the down payment together. Mr. Whatley agreed to hold it. Whatley, out of the goodness of his heart, kept that car for four years. I still was not able to come up with the agreeded upon down payment even after all that time. I contacted Mr. Whatley and he asked me to come to the car lot and was I surprised when he told me he was reducing the down payment to $20.00. I purchased that car and am still driving it today.
