Good Deal. The dealer`s price for the item I wanted was 100 bucks. I called these guys and they said they have it and was gonna charge me 50% less of the dealer`s price. So I went to their junk yard and was assisted by a mechanic who pulled out the part I needed. The lot was huge with different kinds of models. The mechanic and I got into the truck and drove around. When I found a similar vehicle, it didn`t have the ... view morepart I needed. However, the mechanic was able to take me a similar vehicle that may utilize the same item. Sure enough, there was one. After pulling it out, I went back to the shop and paid for my item. Since I didn`t get the right part, the owner gave me the minimum price for any item bought in the junk yard, which was $20 + tax. So... not bad. Got a good deal at the end of the day.

If I could give no stars, I would. I called this auto salvage yard in search of a specific part for my car. The gentleman that answered the phone was condescending and RUDE. When I asked about the specific part he told me that I would have to come in and tell him specifically what I needed. I again repeated what I needed (SPECIFICALLY). In this case it was hard brake lines. He told me that there were a lot of br... view moreake lines on the car and that I would have to just come to the yard in order to tell him specifically what I needed. I am a woman, but my daddy didn`t raise a fool and I KNOW MY CAR. He did not excuse himself and began speaking spanish to someone in the building a few times....at which time I asked "Are you still there?" When I again repeated what I needed he condescendingly said "Ma`am, I don`t know how to make it any more CLEAR. You need to COME IN to tell me specifically what you need." I informed him that an auto salvage yard down the street from him was able to tell me he knew what I was talking about, told me that he did indeed have the parts requested and gave a reasonable price for said parts. He was also very polite and I would be taking my business to him. If someone has this kind of customer service over the phone, what kind of service do you think they provide in person?
