A few weeks ago I had a misfire caused by a bad coil. I drove the car for a couple of days before replacing the coil. BIG MISTAKE! After a couple of days with the misfire the CEL came on and the next day I determined which coil was the problem and replaced the coil. I reset the CEL and within 60 miles it was back on again throwing a code indicating that the catalytic converter was bad. I took it to my normal shop... view more and they told me for a cool $2,000 bucks I could replace the catalytic converters (3 total). No way was I going to do that! I took the car to MIdway Garage for a second opinion who because of the cars good condition and the short duration of the misfire, recommedned I spend $75.00 and let him try to clean the converter with a product called Cataclean. I was skeptical at first, but when the other choice is just not affordable...what the heck.....he said he has been able to save converters before with this product and convinced me. Well....good thing he did. The stuff worked! My car has never run better! 2 more MPG after the treatment and no more CEL! Bottom line....don`t drive with a misfire. that unburned fuel will damage your catalytic converter quickly and the cost to repair is ungodly. Thank you Cataclean!... and Thank you to Peter at Midway Auto Service in Norton, MA! It is nice to know there are honest knowledgeable mechanics out there that are not out to rip you off! I have been going to Midway Garage for over 40 years. Bruce Beane was the owner before Peter and both men have the same philosophy "customer satisfaction". This business would not be here by treating customers the way a few reviews indicated. if you want your car repaired and done right...take it to Midway. If you have a problem talk to Peter and he will make I right!

midway is a total rip off had ...

midway is a total rip off had my auto fixed there for about 7.000 or thought i did but completely got screwed ended up taking it to old colony dodge in mansfield and they treated me real good i suggest you take your car there instead!!!!!!!!!!
