If youwant to throw your hard earned cash away go to Marcellos Transmission in Johnston RI

He is a thief! I brought my 2002 Ford Explorer to him in December 2008. He supposedly rebuilt the transmission and was paid $2100.00. Now in Aug. 2010 just a little over a year a half later, I am having the same transmission problems again. I bring it back to him and replaces the cylenoid block for $600.00...and tells me that there is a problem with 3rd gear and it needs another transmission. Well if it needs anot... view moreher transmission, why did he even bother with the cylenoid block, and charged me $600 to get my truck back. After the fact, I spoke with someone else, who says to NEVER go there...that he is a thief!!!! So now I am out $2700.00 and back to square one with needing a transmission.

Marcello`s Transmissions Horrible

My loss is your wisdom gain. I had my transmission rebuilt in December 2008 by Marcellos. aproximately 18 months later, (without traveling much with the car) I am in need of a brand new transmission again. He didnt stand behind his work. When I brought the vehicle back to him to find out what is wrong, he simply stated, the waranty period for his work is over. He then hooked it up to a machine and said I need th... view moree selenoid block replaced, so I let him do it. It cost me another $550, and then after he has installed this electrical piece into the transmission, which I have to pay for of course, he tells me I need an entire transmission replaced again. :-( So of course I had to pay the $550 to get my car back. Do NOT, under any; circumstances use him!!! I am now out $2650.00 and still need a transmission!!!!
