I have made a huge mistake having my car serviced at Foreign Car R Us shop. I brought my Honda there for a transmission rebuild job because my car`s transmission was slipping in gears. The reason I did that because the price quote was attractive. I paid $1500 in cash up front for the job. They stated that after the job my car will run like a new car. After about a little over 4 weeks with so many phone calls to the s... view morehop without an answer, I was called to come and pick up the car. Test driving the car, I noticed that it jerks very hard every time it shifted. I brought it back to the shop (within 30 days warranty period) and requested an explanation. They agreed to re-do the job and it took them about another 5 weeks to call me come check out the car. The car got a little bit better but it still a noticeable jerked while it shifted. They claimed that i could be one of the solenoids. By the way, the owner name is Joedy and he instructed that nobody in his shop should give out his cell number. I asked him to help me complete the job the quote of another $ 200. Joedy stated that the problem won`t take long to fix. It took about another 6 weeks without any answer. I caught him at the shop one day and he told me that his main mechanic was in jail because of child support. I gave him another 2 weeks to help me fix the car. During that time my truck broke down so I asked him to loan me a car to work but he could not because none of his vehicles had tag to be on the road. I kept on calling Joedy about the job which he rarely picks up. Deeply disappointed, I gave him a nother week to fix my car before I reach out for help from the authority. His girlfriends called me after a week to pay $150 and pick up the car. I had no choice but to pay the money before I could pick up my car because Joedy would not do anything else with my car. I test drive and relized that the car was in very worse condition. I`m sorry; I can`t finish the story because of my sadness. This is a brife note of what happen at Foreign Cars R Us shop. Please take my case as an example and don`t make the same mistake.
