The only place I take my cars
I`ve been taking my cars to LCU for several years now. My children and many of my friends take thier vehicles there. The owners and Mechanics are the best. They truely care about their customers. They go above and beyond to make the experience as easy as possible. They even drove me to work and picked me up when my car was done. In response to "Don`t Go Here Until they fire thier Chief Mechanic": I was at t... view morehe shop yesterday (Wednesday) when your parent`s car was being worked on. You don`t even have all the facts straight. Les wasn`t even the mechanic that worked on thier vehicle. I`m sure if you would have called LCU, they would have taken care of everything for them. As for firing someone for a mishap, no human would have a job. P.S. Maybe your shouldn`t have written something so scathing, before having all the correct information first. Saying unkind things about people without knowing all the facts can be unnecessarily harmful to their reputation.

Les, Chief Mechanic Needs to be fired!
This was an honest place to have your car fixed, I took my car there for many years, but stopped going to Lloyd Center Union Service when I went in to have my radiator flushed. My wife picked up the car that afternoon and headed to Beaverton to pick me up from work. She called me saying white smoke was coming out of the car and she was stranded going East bound on Hwy 26. Not really the best place to be stranded ... view moreand she was afraid she would get hit by passing cars. When I got there I found Les the chief mechanic had not put the cap back on the radiator! We towed the car back to them, and Les lied and told them the cap had blown off. The problem is it was lying on the radiator mounting bracket, not at the back of the engine, plus the mounting threads were not stripped. Anyway, it ruined the engine and they denied any wrong doing. OK people make mistakes and I forgave them, till today! My parents still took their car for routine maintence to Lloyd Center Service even though I recommended they not do so. Just take a look at the photo`s I`ve posted. They had their radiator flushed by Les today. My 70 yo mom calls me and tells me the car was smoking so she walked home in the rain 5 miles, because she couldn`t reach me. Les had forgotten to put the hose clamp on the radiator after flushing it, and when the car heated up it blew the hose off the radiator. Take a look at the photo`s, they say a 1000 words! Until, LES is FIRED I wouldn`t take my car there! You can be too nice to your employee`s also, and at the same time lose your business. I hope the owners can see this, this time! ps: I have never written something so scathing before, and it makes me feel bad, because these really are nice people, but cars are too expensive now-a-days for simple errors like this, and insurance didn`t cover my car. I was out $5,000.00 on my car. I can`t afford that type of thing to happen very often, so I hope this review will help you from making the same mistake!

Only mechanic that I trust
We have used Lloyd Center Union Services for many years on a few different cars. Always feel like we ar being told the truth. Today I took our ""94 Eagle Vision in thinking it might need a tune-up. Come to find out our car was in good turn and needed a couple of hoses and a belt. The tune-up would have cost me more. They took care of the belt, two hoses, and even an oil change and Lube. It still cost me les... view mores than the tune would have. The owner even shared a rib bone with my 8 year old corgi that was with me. Long-time family business that still has ethics,

Best in town
If you are looking for fast friendly service then this is the place to go. The owners are the nicest I have ever met and are not preoccupied in trying to sell you something else. Try them out if you are in the area. They are great!
