RUN! RUN FAR RUN FAST! I got a car from the one at Monkey Junction. Well... A week after i got it, it went to knocking. They said, "bring it in we`ll take a look at it, but if you blow the engine it`s yours!" I can honestly say they offered no help! I put new engine in. They would not discount the car $1. I was told they were going yo knock a payment off. Yeah another lie. They gave me a number to some horr... view moreible mechanic that put the engine in that blew. Pfft. These people are scam artist. I heard another guy got a car and after 1 month transmission fail! Please avoid these people. They will smile while you are making deal and laugh as you try driving away.

These people are crooks! I have been here over &amp; over and visited all Lovott`s locations only to find they are one of the only dealers in Wilmington that DO NOT try to work with their cash paying customers! When I asked if they would reduce the price of a vehicle down a couple of hundred (to BB Value) I was told, &quot;No Ma`am we only make our money on financing here, our cash price is what we pay!&q... view moreuot; Ha, what a joke! Guess it worked out for me in the long run because I found a much better deal elsewhere that dropped their cash price by 1500.00 and I actually received a ride worth what I paid! Also found out later from numerous people I discussed the issue with that Lovitts had a bad name &amp; they did people dirty all of the time! When it is tax time, they know people have big checks, so they raise their prices, don`t come down, &amp; want everyone to finance and miss payments so they can repo! These people do not care about keeping happy repeat customers, or maintaining their reputation! I gave one star because I had to in order to leave the feedback...

Found a vehicle online that these guys had put up for sale. Called to inform the dealer that I`d be driving from 6 hours away to look at the vehicle and would be able to pay up front for it if I liked it. I asked him very plainly to tell me if the vehicle had any serious damage because I would be driving all that way to look at it and didn`t want to waste my time. He insisted the vehicle was fine. However, I arri... view moreved and took it to a mechanic to have it inspected. The bumper was attached with plastic zip ties and the frame of the vehicle was still bent from a big accident. Also, the transmission was on its last leg. The mechanic`s advice, as well the advice of other locals, was not to never do business with these guys. Also, they`re courteous enough to keep their cigarettes in their mouth while they`re talking to you.
