The Best

I have been doing business with Vincent Aurora a Whiteys Tire Service for a very long time. In my opinion it doesn`t get better then them. Butch has serviced my vehicles and kept them on the road for many years. Recently I had four tires put on my Corvette when I left Whiteys, I was completely excited because the corvette handled as it did when I picked it up from the showroom floor. rip off

it use to be a good place, but now it`s a rip off. if you do simple research you can find better prices online like ebay, and get a better product. i went in there asking about rims and tires prices was high, and tires that they will offering were garbage. i say buyers beware do your research first before buying. by the way if you are looking to buy black rims, its alot cheaper online then they offer you.

Pleased with basic brake service...

I have only been to Whitey`s once--today, to get my rear brakes checked, since one side was squealing. Turns out that side had a stuck regulator. They fixed it for $32 and change. They also checked my front brakes on their own initiative, and showed me the uneven wear on the disks. They explained it could cause noise and shaking when breaking at high speeds (it does!), and said they could fix it immediately for $2... view more50, if I wished. When I asked if it was a safety issue, they emphasized that no, it isn`t. They did not pressure me at all to do the repair. I am not a mechanic, but I was very pleased with my first visit to Whitey`s and would happily visit them again.

Worth It!

If you need tires then this is the place. They are knowledgeable, quick and don`t mess around. I looked for places in Brooklyn and this was the best by far. They have been in business for years and you can tell that it is a good place by the number of trucks and cars that come in for service. I wish i had a business this good!

Outragous

I`ve been a customer here for most of my automotive needs. This is the first time I`ve gone to them for an inspection and they saw nothing wrong with RIPPING ME OFF. They twisted my arm into buying new windshield wipers for $115 (one top of the $37) by threatening to fail me for them. I would have been alright with the condition if it was a reasonable price, but this was my ONLY option. $115 for wipers?! Going to a B... view moreMW dealer would have been cheaper! They really know how to lose customers here. NEVER COMING HERE FOR ANYTHING EVER AGAIN. That is just bad business. It`s not the money that bothered me, it was the fact that they`re blatantly squeezing every dollar out of me. In these times, that $115 could have gone towards better things.
