Best mechanics around

I have gone to Tenafly Auto Repair for a number of issues over 5 years or so. Each and every time, Steve and Mike have been thorough and professional. They are honest, hard-working, and very very knowledgeable. I have seen them treat other customers and myself with the utmost respect. They are a model of how any business ought to be run. Changed battery quickly, but lost the vent hose. I asked to find, manager accused me of playing gam

Went to get the car battery changed for 95 bmw 325i. The job was done quickly but when I checked the battery before driving away I found that the vent hose is missing (I tried the battery refresher already without success so I knew vent hose was there going in). I go back in and ask the mechanic to get the vent hose. Mechanic was confused, so I then talked to the manager trying to explain what the vent hose is. ... view moreHe got defensive insisting that vent hose wasn`t present. I insisted that he check the garage area but he gets quite upset and starts yelling what game I am playing. Huh... Must have been some kind of language barrier but a little piece of translucent hose doesn`t warrant getting red-faced and yelling at a customer.

I left without the original vent hose and got an appropriate length of hose elsewhere. Needless to say, I am not going back to this shop.
