A-1 Automotive Transmission Service opened in Moorhead, MN in February 1960. The founders were Bernel Nelson and Allen Bekkerus. These two friends built this business together with one common goal. That was, To do the right thing. Every day our staff strives to live up the legacy that they left behind, Bruce Bekkerus , a second generation owner, is driven to continue business as Bernie and Al did for so many years. We have two groups of the most important people in our business; the first is our customers which we believe that, Their satisfaction means our Success!
