saved me $1600 on a repair
I took my `05 VW Passat to Village Garage for a second opinion after Barry VW told me I needed a new turbo, costing nearly $1700 and 4-5 days. The car had been smoking from the rear and giving off a burning smell. The diagnosis at Village Garage was radically different: a plugged breather screen. They cleared the screen and replaced the air filter ($39) and one hour later, it was ready to go. Total cost: $141. They a... view morere skilled mechanics with integrity, a solid reputation, and no desire to rip-off their customers. I`m proof of that since they obviously saved me from spending $1700 on an unnecessary repair at Barry VW.
