My power steering on my 2002 Grand Am went out last February and I went to Meineke in Muncie to have it repaired. They quoted me $800 to fix just the power steering and said I needed about $200 worth of other repairs. I decided to get a second opinion at Nate`s Service Center and was told that the only problem was that a hose had been disconnected. He ran some fluids through the system and charged me $15. My car hasn... view more`t had a problem since. Either the guys at Meineke didn`t even take the time to look at my car on a lift, or they were knowingly trying to steel my money. Either way, I will NEVER go there again and will tell anyone who listens how terrible this business is.
