Something be goin on at Reds. This used to be a good place but now they just gettin money off people and not figuring nothing out. Took over a week to get my car back and they didn`t even fix it! Sure took my money too...deposit after deposit. Guess the word around town true. That money be goin to support somebody habit!

They are killing us with poor intergrity

I am greatly disappointed with my experience at Red`s.
I took my 93` Saab in for no headlights and was told my car needed to stay over night. The next day I was told that I will be paying a 90+ dollar/hr rate just for them trying to figure it out. I had already told them I replaced the lamps and they called me later to say that it nothing wrong with any of my relays. On the fifth day they called to say that it wil... view morel cost me 600+ dollars for them replace the lamp relay control. Needless to say I could not pay such a cost so they said it would be 200+ even if I choose not to get the relay replace at this time. I talked to ther expert for Saab and found out that all total with replacement and labor the job should not have exceeded about $150.00.

Greatly disappointed and ashamed that this is happening. Maybe that`s why they are located across from the cemetery?

I HAVE FOUND A DOCTOR FOR MY AUTO

A FRIEND RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE FOR MY REPAIR WORK.. I WAS GREETED BY MIKE A WONDERFUL PLEASANT AND KNOWLEDGABLE YOUNG MAN. I WAS INFORMED OF THE STATUS OF MY WORK WHEN NEW PROBLEMS AROSE. EVEN THOUGH I HAD TO LEAVE MY AUTO THERE WERE OPTIONS TO GET A RENTAL BUT I REFUSED. THEY WANTED TO MAKE SURE THE WORK WAS DONE RIGHT WITH NO TEMPORARY FIXES. this is my dadddys shop, which has been passed down generation, to generation. eventually will be mine. family owned, and family taught from experience. they know what they`re doing & they`re friendly people. the one star review on here i`m sure is another rude customer my family has to deal with on a daily basis. they try their best, & they are not trying to rip anyone off! the best deals they can get, is what they ... view moreget. they have many connections & they are about the most well- known on the southside of chicago. look around & i guarantee you there is no competition. have problems with the price? go talk to the parts supplier, not my father or staff. go here, you will not be disappointed.

Still family owned and doing a great job

I went to this shop in September because my engine light was coming on after talking to service writers, found that my grandfather was a customer of reds grandfather many year ago, I was happy to see the business was still family owned. I felt the quality and service was as good now as it must have been when my grandfather came to reds thank for the great service third generation customer. XXX23,

I highly reccomend this place. It has extremley friendly service, and from my visit, very fast service. They know exactly what they are doing and my result was better than expected.

This auto shop is outrageously expensive.

This shop is outrageously too expensive, and you have to wait such a long time for something rather miner to be fix. and they`re not honest people ... I took my car to them to put on the machine .the first worker said 65.00 i went back 2 days later and a different worker said it was $85.00. i decided to let them do it anyway . when they were finish checking it out they tried to charge me $1,100 for something i got... view more done for $150.00.
