This was bad. I went in for an oil change, they talked me into getting the synthetic stuff. okay, and then they said that I needed to replace a belt. The total was 165.00. They said it would take only 10-15 minutes, but they didn`t get done for 2 hours!!!!! I asked them why it took so long and they said that they were having issues finding the right tools to do the job. Once I finally got my car back, I could not mak... view moree it out of the parking lot because the steering wouldn`t work. They claimed that it was just fine when they test drove it, and the mechanic claimed that he had noticed that the steering pump had a wobble to it and decided to tighten it and did not give me the heads up about it before I had left. It was very fishy, and I feel like they are trying to hide something. So then they charge me 350.00 to get the steering pump replaced and all of the fluids re-flushed, saying that it was a ripple effect for getting the new belt. They say this will take about 2 hours at the most, but didn`t get it done for another 3 and a half hours. I demanded for the parts back and am currently seeking a second opinion from a professional. On my way home there is loud thunks coming out of the engine and burnt rubber and oil smoke coming from it. I am so sick about this. Don`t go to Jiffy Lube, I beg you!!!!!!
