not so dependable

well, i had talked to greg for over a week about getting a distributor installed in a 95 dodge stratus. the day the part came in, i tried to call as instructed and he never answered. i then called from another phone line in my house and he answered first ring. it was around 3pm on friday afternoon. he said he lived about 4-5 miles from me. after giving him my address, he said he was on his way. over 2 hours late... view morer still no phone call or anything. he just never showed up! I called him and left him a voice mail as once again he did not answer the phone. i let him know if it was going to take him over 2 hours to drive 4-5 miles and no courtesy call, then i would simply get someone else. I would have thought he still would have called to say sorry but NOTHING. i went back on craigslist and got a 22 year old from 30 miles away who was here in less than an hour. this guy was polite, very considerate and within 2 hours, had my new distributor on my car and it now runs like new. so much for his ad knocking the younger folks and to get someone who has 25 years experience! I would never suggest using this guy.

I cannot say enough good things

I called because my car would not start. Greg was here within 30 min he fixed my car for less than the cost of a tow truck. Thanks!

mobile mechanic

Greg was first to jump on my car and he fixed it correctly gettin rid of the problem we had correctly. The only problem we have is 1) was not done on time that was stated 2) money was flip flopped. Do believe when a price is set it should be set and not changed several times along with when the car is suppose to be done.

He arrived both at my house and roadside promptly on separate occasions, diagnosed and fixed the problems right there and let me drive off without calling a tow truck. Greg has done several repairs on our car. The problems have always been diagnosed correctly and repaired for much less money than we were quoted by a local garage. Two things that were important to us were honesty and timeliness. This guy knows his stuff!

I was stuck on the side of the road and I called A Mobile Mechanic. The tech arrived quickly and he was very professional. He was able to get my car going after just 5 min. The cost was much less than calling a tow truck would have been . I set an appointment with thi for next weekend to have a clutch put in another vehicle of mine.
