I have worked there and my husband has worked there, twice. This is a fine company as far as wrecker services, especially in DeKalb County and City of Atlanta. OBVIOUSLY they are doing SOMETHING correctly, as they`ve been in business over 20 years with very little turnover, as far as office personnel. I know a LOT of the drivers and ALL of the staff that works in the office and they are definitely a family oriented business and treat just about everyone there as if they are family. They DO have honest people. My husband recently impounded a vehicle that the police officer did not thoroughly inventory. My husband recently impounded a vehicle that had a good amount of cash in it. He called the officer to let the officer know about having overlooked the cash money. He also let his boss know, as well as the dispatcher and the young lady who works the window doing payouts (when people come to retrieve their impounded vehicles). The customer was SO SURPRISED at the honesty of the driver that he left a tip. Just because people get arrested, have their vehicle impounded and have to pay the rate to get their vehicle out of impound is not wrecker drivers fault. HE didn`t pull over the person for having a tail light out, or driving drunk, or without a license or insurance ~ it`s the Police Officer that radioed for a wrecker. So the ONLY person to be mad/upset with is the owner of the vehicle who did whatever he/she did to have said vehicle impounded. I know the owners and they don`t just hire some bum walking down the road needing a job. The dispatchers are VERY WELL QUALIFIED, having over 50 plus years combined experience. Of all of the wrecker services that pull for DeKalb County, S&W Towing is, hands down, THE BEST of the BEST. They are not only on the scene of an accident within the allotted amount of time, but they do an AWESOME job cleaning up debris and freeing up the roadway as QUICKLY as possible. They are also drug tested randomly and ALWAYS pass the UA screens. It`s a shame that they don`t have a contract with ALL of the bordering Counties!!! KEEP UP THE AWESOMENESS S&W TOWING!!!

Nobody enjoys having their car towed, needless to say it isn`t the most thrilling experience. However; I can honestly saw S&W makes sure that it won`t be unpleasant and that your properties are kept safe. The owners and their employees are outstanding people, but that goes without saying. It never ceases to amaze me how much free time people have on their hands; if you have something bitter or ugly to say, keep it... view more to yourself or take it up with someone else. If its not about S&W towing then we don`t need to hear it. Uncalled for, hateful posts are a reflection of your lack of maturity, not this company. This is City Search, not Facebook. Obviously they have done something right and followed the rules to have brought their business this far. I know these people. I feel compelled to speak out. They are just like everyone`s family they are not perfect. I have found them to be some of the most generous and forgiving people I have ever met. There equipment is some of the best. The police , Gov`t, and many Large Successful companies choose them for towing. Do they have employees that can be like a Bull in a China shop and sometimes be discourteous, do they make mistakes? I am sure, BUT they also have a large group of dedicated, loyal, honest employees and from my point some very friendly, cordial, workers. I would suggest this company to my friends and relatives. I can only make one suggestion , they need to install a pay phone on the premises. S&W is one of the best towing companys around. I get them to tow all my vehicles. Very professional and trustworthy. I had s&w tow my car and accidently left some valuables in the car, well needless to say everything was not only in the car, but marked on the invoice. This company is run by a family that is just your typical rednecks. They are unprofessional and I have heard they are crooks. Either way shady. One of their drivers was even kicked out of the nascar series recently for drugs. Hes only the second driver ever look it up for yourself. I heard he even killed a 15 year old girl a few years ago. Everytime ive had to deal with them they are mean and rude. A friend of mine`s car got stolen on 7/20 or 21 (she was out of town at the time). The car was seen on 7/25 on the back of a semi and reported to the police. This was AFTER the initial police report was made on the 21st. S & W are crooks. I work for a nother tow company, I got called out to tow a truck to the company base. Parked it where the driver told me to. Next morning shop needed it moved, and saw i left my tow lites on back. Called S &W out to move it. Guess what my lites are missing and s&w where the only ones to touch the truck other than the shop. BEWARE S & W ARE THEIFS......

Not only did i wait for over two hours, when i called to check on the tow truck they were very rude. Steve the manager was unprofessional and very confrontational...When the Tow truck finally show up they went to the drop-off point instead of the pick-up, and they argued that we gave them the wrong information. Steve hang up on me and never showed up to the pick up point....Run do not use this service
