DO YOU TRUST THESE GUYS? BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE, I DON`T!

When we first opened Charlotte Moving Truck Rentals, Inc, in 2006, a man by the name of Don Pierce from City Isuzu on Atlantic Blvd. sold us our first trucks: two 2001 Isuzu NPRs and a Ford pick up truck, which we later traded in for another 2001 Isuzu. Our down-payment via City Isuzu was $17,000 on a sublease agreement for $80,000 through Key Equipment Finance, and we made monthly payments of $1,789 for 12 month... view mores, during which time one of our fuel pumps went out en route to Orlando. Trusting City Isuzu, we had the truck towed to their location. City Isuzu wanted to charge $7,300 to rebuild and reinstall our busted fuel pump--or they`d keep our rotten truck. Lucky for us, Don talked the service manager down to $5,000, which was still ridiculous (obviously). Later, we traded in those trucks with the understanding that some of the $38,000 plus--minus 8% interest--we had into them would be applied toward the two brand new Isuzu FTRs we financed through Key Equipment Finance. How much did they apply? $0.00. Not a single penny. $60,000 for each truck, at 8% interest ($2,550 per month for 66 months)? In short, we stood to pay $168,000 for two brand new trucks (including financing). So what happened to the $38,000? After the fact Don told us it was Key Equipment`s responsibility to apply the credit, and that we had to work it out with them. Of course, Key Equipment pointed the finger back at City Isuzu. What`s plainly obvious is that it didn`t go toward the down-payment on our new 2007 Isuzu FTRs. The down-payment on those trucks was $1,500 each. So what happened to the $38,000 (minus interest) from our first three trucks that should have been applied to our Isuzu FTRs? Good question. Excellent question! It`s been two years and we`re STILL waiting for an answer!
