BUYER BEWARE I am a former ret...
BUYER BEWARE I am a former returning customer of 3 years and have been returning here to get the tires replaced on all 3 of my family`s cars. Each past visit had been smooth and quick and I was extremely satisfied with the service....And then came my latest tire change there. I have a 2008 Honda Civic Limited Edition. It has everything as good as it gets for civics of that year..especially the rims. So, I come and or... view moreder the best tires they have for my model and year vehicle, and am told that their firestones were the best for my model. I purchase these tires and have them installed. The next day I wake up to go to work and low air pressure signal is on. OK, no biggie, this happens; I`ll head over there after work and they will take care of it I told myself. FOUR subsequent visits later that same week due to the SAME tire failing to perform they STILL REFUSE TO REPLACE IT!!! No, it is all my fault. Maybe I hit a pothole? "We will reset your sensor". Ok, next day; "It is your pressure sensor, again; we replaced it and there will be no more problems". Next day "Your valve stems were not replaced due to error on our part, it is fixed now". Next day "Your rim is getting worn out and we will put a rubber seal in between it and the tire, this is a common problem when rims get older and get worn". (for a mint 2008 with 15" alloy rims? YEAH RIGHT. Next day I let my spouse drive it to the grocery store (after pumping up the tire yet again), and upon her return i determine to pay yet another visit to finally get this obviously defective tire replaced. A new customer service rep comes out after a few minutes and tells me "We have noticed some marks similar to minor curb rash on the side of the tire and we just find it ironic that you have brought us a tire to replace that is obviously damaged by your own incompetence". I almost lost it then and there. LAST time I ever go there. I will drive a bit further to West Springfield and maybe pay a bit more but I am never returning there again. No amount of arguing would convince the rep otherwise; as far as he was concerned I was yet another clown customer to get rid of. I bring my car home and take it to Honda the next day to have them replace it. They inform me that all five of my lugs on the problem tire are stripped and the stock Honda nuts are gone and replaced with aftermarket ones that are a different thread. It ran me about $80 for the new parts plus a whole Saturday to replace them. According to the techs at Honda this was obviously intentional on their part.

Vehicle State Inspection
Brought my car to get inspected and it was rejected due to the treads on my front tires being out of spec by a 1/16"". They offered to replace them on the spot. I thought it was a little fishy that a tire company rejected my car because I needed new tires....so I thought. I went home and performed the penny inspection on my treads. For those who don`t know the penny inspection, place a penny (Lincoln head side down)... view more in the tread. If part of Lincoln`s head is always covered you have more than 2/32"" of tread depth remaining. I then brought my car to get reinspected at a different location and my vehicle passed with flying colors. It cost my another $29 but it`s better than spending $400 on new tires.

Solid Repair Shop, No B.S.
I`ve been going to Expert Tire in Westfield for 2 years now. (My Honda dealer never fixed anything right, always said I needed things I didn`t, never saved the parts when I asked him to, totally screwed up a brake job and then charged me through the nose for the privilege...etc.) So far I`ve had nothing but success at Expert Tire. No big repairs--just oil changes, new tires, alignments, brakes checked and cleaned.... view more I like the repair-guy named ""Chris."" He`s a perfectionist and a real straight arrow. I highly recommend this shop.

Good Experience!
I priced tires between Expert Tire, Town Fair Tire, Al`s Tire, and City Tire, and Expert Tire had the best prices so we went with them. I have a 2010 Honda CRV and initially purchased the Firestone Destination, but the ride was so hard that I went back to Expert Tire and they swapped them for a better tire at no extra costs!! They did an excellent job selecting a new tire and I just love the ride on the Bridgestone... view more Dueller Alenzas. Great tire, great service, and would highly recommend them!

EXPECT TO WAIT
Want quick service? Want information on your vehicle? How about if anything has come up or may slow down the length or cost on your visit ? Well, don`t expect to get any info handed to you at expert tire. It took TWO HOURS to put on TWO TIRES. After about an hour and fifteen minutes I had to go ask what was going on. Reluctantly, One of the managers informed me that the lugs were stripped and I needed 10 new ons at ... view more$3.00 a piece. They we not stripped when I brought the vehicle in, I know because I put them on by hand when I did the brakes. But , They had to order them and put them on. This is an extra $30.00 dollars. They finally come in, put the tires on, get the bill and the Manager ""ROB"" states they are $4.00dollars a piece not $3.00. He says there is nothing he can do. I CAN, There are plenty of dealers out there and this is one i would not go back to. Plus the lug nut look like the go to a semi truck not a caravan. First time buying Firestone 380 tires from one of there dealers Probally the last , Very poor experience
