What`s interesting about Tirna`s review is that when I took my VW to Painter`s Grinding for repair, they flat out told me I needed to take it elsewhere ~ so maybe they learned their lesson. My problem is that they referred me to RSM Motor Sports. While the guiys there seem to know what their doing, good luck trying to get them to communicate with you via phone. POOR customer service !

So many problems

Okay.
So my boyfriend has a VW Golf that needed a timing belt service, we took it to painters to get the serivce done and when we got the car back it was runing the same as before. Terrible. Two days later we took it back to have it fixed again. The guy said he was sorry, it was two clicks off, and he ""fixed"" it. One week later the car stopped functioning completely. We had it towed back to painters, the timing... view more belt had snapped. The car was in the shop for 10 days and finally was repaired. After we picked it up something was still not right. My boyfriend just took it to another shop where he was told that during the timing belt service a water pump had been wedged between the battery and the fan causing the fan to break and the pump to be sliced. Soooo.... more than 1000 bucks later, we are still having problems with the car because painters has no idea what they are doing. Also, when we got it back from the 10 day ""service"" there was a nice big oily handprint right on the front of the hood. When my boyfriend washed it off, the paint came off. In the form of a perfect handprint. Which was obviously placed there by the guy who did the service. Sheesh.
I would NOT waste your money. Go somewhere else!
