SHADY
I would have to agree with Jim. They are so nice until they get your money! I bought a 2000 ford expedition when tony was still in gridley in 2010. He financed me the car for 10,000.00. I put 5 grand down. He put my payments at $200 a month, with GAP coverage. I also had to pay for a GPS tracking device which he promised to reimburse me for once the loan was paid off. Things were going well for the next 8 months for... view more me, payments were being made on time. Well, everything turned around in Oct of 2010, just 8 months after I purchased the car. At that time I was driving 25 min. every month to pay tony in person. Well this particular month, Tony`s shop was GONE. I had called him to find out where I was to send the payment, and one of his `employees` gave me a PO box to send my payment to for Oct. I wrote the address down and immediately sent my payment and also notified Tony`s employee that the payment had been sent. Just 2 short weeks later without any notification I had a recovery agent at my door asking me for my keys. I told him he was mistaken & to unhook my expedition from his repo truck, which he refused & confirmed that there was no mistake. I called tony at that moment and he yelled at me & CUSSED at me. As I was on the phone with this same employee who gave me the PO box, I could hear tony in the background yelling, "you had better give him the keys or you`ll never get your f---ING car back!" I started to cry & handed the agent my keys. I then called tony again to ask why he had repossessed my vehicle that I had not missed any payments on. He stated he had not received my payment. I was hysterical in tears, begged & pleaded with him. He did not care to hear what I had to say, even though I was being truthful & had a stub of payment confirmation of my money order. I told Tony`s employee that they were a shady company, and he responded to my comment by saying, "your the one who`s f---ING shady, you didn`t pay your car payment!" I even had my fianc?© who is also a recovery agent call tony to talk to him & they also cursed & screamed at him. I again called tony to ask him what I needed to do to redeem my vehicle that I had already invested almost $6000.00 in short 8 mos. He said that I would have to pay TWO car payments & the $800 repossession fee. That was a total of $1200.00. I am a single mother of four. Luckily, I was able to come up with the cash & redeem my vehicle. 2 weeks later I had received a returned letter with my money order still inside the envelope. The address they had provided was the incorrect address. I sent tony proof and asked him to refund my repossession fee because I found it unfair & his mistake. He didn`t care about me & my situation & quit answering my calls, EVEN THOUGH I WAS STILL FINANCED THROUGH HIM! In Dec when I was ready to make my next due payment after all of the drama, I had received a letter that he had sold me to a bank, without any notification. Apparently he did not want to do business with me anymore for whatever reason. I felt he was avoiding me because he knew he was in the wrong all along. I however paid my car off in full in 3 years on a 5 year loan with the bank he sold me to. He is a crook, but I was able to pay off the loan & get the title. Tony promised to refund me on the GPS tracker once the loan was paid off, which he refused. He said, "read the contract! It was never written!" A verbal agreement is STILL a contract in my opinion. He is a fly by night crook! I will never do business w/him again. He has no conscience & is a liar! I think his intent all along was to keep my vehicle when he repossessed it in hopes that I wouldn`t be able to redeem it so that he could make a bigger profit. He is untrustworthy and if you decide to do business with him, get EVERYTHING in writing, or he will screw you! Janessa Webb

I had the worst experience wit...
I had the worst experience with this dealership. I bought a 2004 Nissan Murano and in the beginning I thought this dealership was the best dealership ever until I bought my car. Then the very next day my car started to make a loud thump every time I turned and my engine light came on. So I took it back to the dealership and they said "It makes that noise because it a AWD and that all AWD do that." So I said... view more I wanted Nissan to look at it and he supposedly called Nissan and Nissan supposedly said it would be next month before they could look at it and three of his mechanics that are paid on salary said there was nothing wrong with it. And my transmission oil was very low. So I called Nissan and they were able to see me the very next day. When I told Tony Joes that they said it must of been because they got a discount and that`s a lie because it cost me that said exact price for me to take it in and I didn`t say anything about their dealership. So I took my car into Nissan and they said its not normal and there was something wrong with it and that they would have to take everything apart. When we told Tony Joe`s instead of helping us they said they could only offer us a warranty to buy for a extra 80 dollars a month. So we bought the warranty and fixed the problem ourselves. So today I went to get my oil changed and they showed me that my air and carb. filter were completely gunked and my brakes were almost out. I only bought this car less than 2 months ago and the machine said it should be nothing close to that if it was passed a Safety Checklist which all cars must pass before they sell the car. So I went to Tony Joes to ask for my Safety Checklist and to see why I haven`t received my license plates yet and the owner got so mad that I asked he didn`t even give me a explanation and yelled and scream at me to leave and never to come back. And by the way my 3 years old son was with me so it was really unnecessary because I was very nice and calm when I asked. Need less to say I`m calling the bureau and reporting them. This is a warning to anyone who is thinking about buying a car from there. They are nice until they get your money and then they stop being nice. I got my car 2 months ago and it has more problems than my 97 Ford Escort. Please listen to me and save yourself some stress. Don`t waste your money.
