I went to Bob`s auto as referred by another customer, so I thought it was a good idea. After they had my car for almost a week (and $1100 dollars later) I picked up my car. It was still on the rack and 20 minutes later they test drove it, put it back on the rack, did something to it - test drove it again for 3 minutes, then said it was good to go. The next afternoon I`m driving my car on the freeway and it goes out o... view moren me. Have it towed back to the Bob`s Auto and they say they aren`t sure why that happened. They keep it overnight and the next day say I need a new engine and quoted me close to $2000). I didn`t have that kind of money so I tow it back home. It had been out of commission for months and I take it somewhere else and all it needed from the beginning was an alternator! I will NEVER go back to Bob`s auto -- they ripped me off of my hard earned money. So much for being the `honest auto repair`.
