A1 service and repair

So I`m going to write a review on AAMCO in san luis Obispo and was taken back by a previous review written. I don`t know what happened to this customer but it is the polar opposite of what I experienced. I had my 5 speed diagnosed as an internal failure and was going to be charged 26 hours + parts for a rebuild. When I called Steve AAMCO he wasn`t sure but quickly provided me with the time to rebuild + parts. I verif... view moreied his times with another facility and found that he was right on so I took my truck to him. Come to find out I didn`t even have a transmission problem at all and that a clutch pedal bracket had failed. It was replaced and I have all shifting capability. I am ever so greatful for Aamco, and Steve for that matter, for their honesty, timely diagnose and repair and customer service. Keep up the good work guys!

WORST SERVICE EVER

i will NEVER do business with this company again- i just had the WORST customer service experience! I think the worst part is that my bad experience can be blamed entirely on their store manager `steve` he was rude- ridiculously impatient, and actually criticized me, a 67 year old woman, for not knowing what was wrong with my car (isn`t that what this business is for-helping me figure out what is wrong with my vehicl... view moree????) If you want actual SERVICE, NEVER GO TO AAMCO IN SAN LUIS OBISPO, AND NEVER ASK STEVE FOR HELP!!!
