This 2008 Saturn Vue XR AWD was locally owned and, its really nice, and has been well cared for. It has been maintained really well, it has excellent interior and paint make this a great buy! All service work is up to date. Within the last couple days I had the vehicle inspected by an ASE certified repair facility. The repair facility that I take all my vehicles to, has been working on vehicles for over 32 years and I feel they are the best in this town. They are extremely good and all my vehicles go to them for the inspection and reconditioning. They are of course ASE certified and they can do anything from oil changes to rebuilding engines. We serviced this vehicle, and its ready to go!They have inspected it and told me the vehicle runs and drives well. Theyve looked it over and took it for a test drive. The engine and transmission did not have any mechanical issues. They also checked the fluid level, replaced the oil and filter, topped off the fluids, and checked the condition of the transmission, it was full and clean. The brakes were fine also; it has a clean bill of health and has been fully serviced, inspected and certified for you. This 2008 Saturn Vue XR AWD runs and drives very well! The Mechanic drove this vehicle for around 35 miles or so to make sure it was working great. He assured me that this vehicle has been taken extremely well care of and it shows, inside and out! It drives like new and looks that way too. When the deal to sell Saturn to Penske Automotive fell through, there were likely a lot of surprised people at General Motors' Detroit, MI headquarters. Penske released a statement saying that the reason the deal fell through after months of good faith negotiations was that a suitable post-GM supply of vehicles could not be found. However, after reacquainting ourselves with over eight minutes of outtakes from Jim Gaffigan's old Saturn commercial, we're thinking the comedic pitchman is to blame.
GM recalling 686k Lambda-platform models for hatch repair
Fri, Jul 10 2015General Motors is recalling 686,287 units of its Lambda platform crossovers. On models equipped with a power rear hatch the system can potentially fail. This campaign includes the 2008-2012 Buick Enclave, 2009-2012 Chevrolet Traverse, 2007-2012 GMC Acadia, and 2007-2010 Saturn Outlook. According to GM's documents to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (as a PDF), dirt can get into a portion of the strut that holds up the hatch and cause the part to prematurely fail. There's a redundancy in place called the Prop Rod Recovery system that's designed to shut the liftgate if there's a malfunction. However, if the breakdown happens too quickly after the hatch is opened the prop rod might not work the way it's supposed to. If someone were in the way of the falling liftgate, they could be hurt. For the repair, dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit to prevent the hatch from closing so quickly. They'll also check the operation of the system afterward. The affected vehicles, equipped with the power liftgate option, have gas struts that hold the power liftgate up when open. These struts may prematurely wear and the open liftgate may suddenly fall. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the software for the power liftgate actuator motor control unit so that the motor will prevent the rapid closing of the lift gate, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a notification schedule.
GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac.
