1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow 59,000 Original Miles Lots Of Pics No Reserve on 2040-cars
Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States
|
I am selling my beautiful 1976 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. sometime in its life it was badged as a Silver Shadow II. The car spent most of its life in the Los Angles area. I have owned it foe the last 3 years and it is kept garaged in Fort Lauderdale Florida. It is rarely driven, but is well maintained. during my ownership the car was received a new starter and a new fuel pump (approx.$3000) The previous owner who bought the car in California and brought it to NY, where he kept it in a heated garage, had a lot of the mechanicals redone. At the time of the purchase he furnished me with a folder full of receipts for all of the work that was done, it totaled about $12,500. I have since lost the folder, but I have the contact info for the shop that did the work. So all of the work has been done to the tune of over $15,000! So now it needs to be driven! This car could be a perfect daily driver. The car starts right up and drives great! This car never fails to turn heads!
There are some light cosmetic issues. I'll do my best to show them in the pictures. |

Rolls-Royce goes glam, celebrates Art Deco heritage in Paris
Thu, 27 Sep 2012Rolls-Royce has used the 2012 Paris Motor Show to pull the covers off its art deco-inspired Phantom saloon, Phantom Drophead Coupé and Ghost models. These three bespoke machines are said to pay homage to the 1925 Paris Exhibition or Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes. Not coincidentally, the phrase 'art deco' was coined at that very show.
These three models are finished in period-correct color schemes and feature details that include mother of pearl and silver inlays and ornamental glassware. According to Giles Taylor, Design Director Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, "Art Deco was defined by theatre, glamour and a sense of excitement. Working to create contemporary interpretations of these classic themes has been enormously rewarding for everyone in my bespoke design team." But of course.
Feel free to check out our live gallery of high-res images above along with the official shots released by Rolls-Royce below. There's also a press release or two waiting for your prying eyes, if you're so inclined.

Rolls-Royce Wraith officially revealed in profile
Tue, 22 Jan 2013Well here's a nice twofer. On the same day Rolls-Royce releases its first official teaser image showing the 2014 Wraith, we also get a look at the car undergoing some cold-weather testing courtesy of some new spy shots. As the coupe version of the Ghost, the 2014 Rolls-Royce Wraith will make its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and it's expected to go on sale during the fourth quarter of this year.
Rolls-Royce already confirmed plenty of information in a teaser it released last week, but the latest image shows us a clear shot of what the car's midsection will look like. Comparing this image and the spy shots, we can see that the Wraith will have a pretty sleek - (almost Bentley Continental GT-like) roofline, and, like the Phantom Coupe, it will have rear-hinged doors. We can also tell from the spy shots that it seems to be keeping the same face as the Ghost and taillights, too.
Be sure to check out the latest spy photos for the Wraith as well as a brief press release from Rolls-Royce by scrolling below.
